Fox Hosts Burst Into Laughter Over KJP’s Farewell

Fox News hosts couldn’t help but burst into laughter while discussing White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s farewell.
During a segment of Fox & Friends, co-hosts Guy Benson, Rachel Campos-Duffy, and Charlie Hurt reflected on Jean-Pierre’s tenure. They also reacted to a photo she recently shared of the White House press team, which she described as the “best in the business.”
Critics of President Joe Biden’s administration on X quickly pushed back against her claim. Many accused Jean-Pierre of regularly misrepresenting facts during her time as press secretary.
“It takes an army to come up with non-answers and lies,” remarked conservative columnist Tim Young in response to Jean-Pierre’s post.
The outgoing press secretary shared a photo on her X account Friday, featuring herself alongside President Biden and several smiling staff members. She captioned the post:
“Here’s to the best team in the business. I couldn’t do it without you. Let’s run through the tape! #thewestwing #POTUS #WhiteHouse.”

The photo quickly went viral, drawing criticism from those frustrated with her performance as press secretary.
Washington Times columnist Tim Murtaugh delivered a sharp critique of Jean-Pierre and her staff, stating:
“This ‘best team in the business’ lied to the world about the mental & physical fitness of the president and, ultimately, failed. Their work led to Trump’s huge win, which was a complete repudiation of everything they did in the most important jobs they’ll ever have.”
He ended his comment with, “Nice work.”
Eli Lake of The Free Press quipped, “In what business is this the best team?”
USA Features Media commented, “Obviously KJP’s next career will be in writing comedy. She’s pretty good at it, apparently.”
Conservative radio host Michael Berry criticized the team with a biting post: “Dumb and dumber. And dumber. And even dumber. And yet more dumb. And shockingly even dumber than that. And . . .”
Chuck Ross, an investigative reporter for the Washington Free Beacon, added, “They’re actually all the worst in the business which means they’ll be making $300k+ in That Town within a couple months.”
David Marcus of Fox News also weighed in, criticizing the communications team for allegedly misrepresenting President Biden’s health and other critical issues. He wrote, “So these are the people who aided in lying to the American citizenry about Biden’s mental capacity and plans to pardon his son. Got it. I’d put a bag over my head if I were one of them.”
Bonchie, a writer for RedState.com, said, “I keep waiting for her to exhibit some semblance of shame, but she just doesn’t have it in her.”
Mollie Hemingway, editor-in-chief of The Federalist, declared, “There is not an easier job in the universe than being press secretary for a Democrat. And yet somehow y’all still failed.”
Jean-Pierre’s final year as press secretary was marked by numerous controversies and public missteps.
Memorable incidents included a clash with CBS reporter Ed O’Keefe after she sidestepped his question about a neurologist from Walter Reed Military Medical Center visiting President Biden multiple times. She also came under fire for dismissing criticism of Biden’s charged rhetoric about then-candidate Donald Trump—who had survived two assassination attempts—as “incredibly dangerous.” Additionally, she dismissed circulating videos of Biden appearing frail as “cheap fakes.”
Throughout her tenure, Jean-Pierre frequently struggled with basic questions, often appearing to search for appropriate responses. Her performance faced criticism, even from members of the so-called ‘mainstream’ media.
