Huge: RFK Jr. Secures Major Endorsement

Controversial actor Kevin Spacey, currently embroiled in fresh allegations of sexual misconduct, publicly endorsed Robert Kennedy Jr.'s candidacy on Monday.

In a post on his social media page, the Oscar-winning actor praised Kennedy as a mentor and supporter, noting how Kennedy stood by him during the initial accusations of sexual impropriety.

"I have much to learn from him," Spacey wrote. "When the world turned against me, Bobby stood by my side."

Spacey emphasized Kennedy's commitment to justice and his willingness to defend his beliefs, calling him a "strong advocate for justice and a steadfast friend."

The actor shared a promotional video from Kennedy, narrated by Woody Harrelson, highlighting Kennedy's outsider status in Washington politics.

However, Spacey's endorsement faced ridicule due to the long-standing allegations of sexual misconduct against him throughout his career in Hollywood.

Allegations against Spacey surfaced in 2017 when actor Anthony Rapp accused him of making advances at a party when Rapp was 14 and Spacey was 26. Subsequently, others came forward with similar accounts of inappropriate behavior by the "American Beauty" star.

While Spacey was not legally found guilty of any of these accusations, they generated significant controversy both in the U.S. and the U.K.

When initially confronted with the allegations, Spacey publicly came out as gay, a move that drew criticism from some in the LGBTQ+ community who felt he was conflating his sexuality with predatory conduct.

LGBT activist Peter Tatchell criticized Spacey's approach, stating, "It's unfortunate that it took allegations of sexual misconduct for Kevin Spacey to come out as gay, after keeping his sexuality private for many years. More concerning is the confusion of his sexuality with inappropriate actions. His sexual orientation is irrelevant; it's his behavior that's troubling."

Fresh allegations against Spacey are surfacing in a documentary series titled "Spacey Unmasked," airing on the U.K.'s Channel 4, adding to the ongoing controversy surrounding the actor.

In response to the upcoming series, Spacey acknowledged being "inappropriate at times" in his pursuit of romantic relationships but denied any wrongdoing, reiterating his accountability for his past actions while refuting fabricated or exaggerated claims made against him.
