Trump Signs Series of Executive Orders Before Live Audience: The First Targets Biden's Legacy

On Monday, President Donald Trump signed a series of executive orders live on stage at Capital One Arena in Washington, drawing a crowd of spectators.
The first order overturned an extensive set of 78 executive actions previously enacted by former President Joe Biden. Another directive established an immediate hiring freeze for all federal employees.

Additional orders introduced a halt on issuing new federal regulations, mandated all federal employees to return to in-person work, and — most significantly — pulled the United States out of the Paris Climate Treaty, an agreement the U.S. had reentered in 2021.
