"Police are gathering statements from neighbors. The man also has both an American and an Assyrian flag displayed at his home. The elderly gentleman declined medical assistance when offered an ambulance," authorities added.
Police shared details of the suspects, noting that "the four individuals were Hispanic males, aged between 18 and 24."
As of Tuesday, no arrests had been made.
Across the United States, Trump signs have frequently become targets for vandalism.
In Concord, New Hampshire, police managed to recover a stolen Trump sign after a surveillance camera captured the theft, according to Patch.
Last month in Lincoln, Nebraska, as reported by KOLN, a Trump supporter faced numerous challenges displaying his sign.
One homeowner resorted to wrapping his Trump sign with barbed wire. However, city officials from Lincoln Transportation and Utilities removed the sign and the wire, citing that both violated city regulations.
When the sign was put back up, it was stolen, and the replacement sign that followed was vandalized.

Fox News host Sean Hannity recently pointed out that the level of hatred directed at Trump is unprecedented in American politics.
"Donald Trump commands a large, loyal base of supporters," Hannity remarked. "There are Americans who would go to great lengths to vote for him, and they will. However, there are also those who hate him intensely, making him the top target for assassination threats in our country," Hannity said, according to Fox News.
"He has many adversaries: the Democratic Party, the mainstream media, the deep state, and government officials. Trump Derangement Syndrome is very real. They’ve demonized him, tarnished his image, slandered him, and turned him into a caricature."
"In less than a decade, Donald Trump went from being a billionaire and media celebrity admired by Democrats to a Republican who is now labeled by the same people as a 'threat to democracy' simply because his political views and rhetoric challenged the Democratic establishment," he added.
