Anti-Trump Protests Being Organized Nationwide For Independence Day
While millions of patriotic Americans gather this Independence Day to celebrate the birth of the greatest nation on Earth, far-left activists are using July 4th as yet another excuse to smear President Donald J. Trump and protest the very freedoms the holiday represents.
Dozens of progressive groups are mobilizing against the President, who was re-elected in a historic landslide and is once again leading the nation with strength and resolve. The latest demonstrations are part of a growing left-wing campaign that paints patriotism as “authoritarianism” and treats national pride as something to be ashamed of.
These efforts follow a coordinated wave of anti-Trump protests that have unfolded since the President returned to the White House for his second term. On June 14, as Americans gathered in Washington, D.C. for a national military parade celebrating American strength and unity, leftist agitators staged “No Kings” protests across the country to “reject authoritarianism.”

In tandem with the “No Kings” events, left-wing immigration protests erupted in cities nationwide, targeting President Trump’s lawful and necessary Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations. Demonstrations that began in Los Angeles escalated when the President, exercising his authority as Commander-in-Chief, deployed the National Guard and later Marines — a decision made without a request from California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who has consistently defied federal immigration enforcement.
Despite Democrat lawsuits and political posturing, a federal appeals court ultimately affirmed President Trump’s authority to retain control of National Guard units in Los Angeles.
Now, these same groups are staging a new round of July 4th protests.
Women’s March — a far-left organization known for pushing radical gender ideology and race-based activism — announced over 140 protest events scheduled for Independence Day under the banner of “Free America Weekend.” Events range from rallies to backyard “teach-ins,” with organizers urging people to boycott celebrations of freedom and instead “reimagine” America.
“This July 4th, while the U.S. marks Independence Day, we’ll gather across the country, on porches, in town squares, backyards, and streets, to stand for real freedom and build a vision of a Free America, brick by brick,” the group declared.
“They want us scared, divided, and alone. They don’t want us to dream about freedom. But that’s exactly what we have to do,” the organization added.
The Women’s March is also relaunching its “No Kings” campaign — dubbed No Kings 2.0 — with protest events in at least a dozen states including Wisconsin, Louisiana, and Wyoming. While organizers claim the protests are nonviolent, many are aimed squarely at opposing President Trump’s immigration crackdown. According to organizers in Green Bay, the protest is meant to show “solidarity with our immigrant neighbors.” ICE enforcement under President Trump’s second term has reportedly surpassed 100,000 arrests — a move widely applauded by conservatives and law-abiding citizens.
In Florida, radicals are planning a demonstration near President Trump’s residence at Mar-a-Lago. One activist, Mark Offerman, told the Palm Beach Daily News, “We’re supposed to be celebrating America’s independence, and I felt a moral responsibility to stand up and declare our independence from Trump-ism.” The protest will even reuse a grotesque balloon first flown during anti-police riots in 2020.
Meanwhile, an outfit called The People’s Union USA is calling for a so-called “stay-at-home protest,” urging people to boycott July 4th festivities, large corporations, and the American flag altogether.

The message is clear: Instead of honoring American history and the hard-fought liberty millions died to secure, left-wing radicals are spending Independence Day demonizing the country and the President who’s working to restore it.
