Antifa Leaders Reportedly Flee U.S. as President Trump Cracks Down on Domestic Terror Networks
Several prominent Antifa figures are reportedly leaving the United States amid President Donald Trump’s sweeping directive to dismantle what he called “domestic terrorist networks” operating within the country.
According to multiple reports, Antifa organizers began coordinating their exits shortly after President Trump publicly reaffirmed his administration’s position labeling Antifa a domestic terrorist threat and ordered federal agencies to pursue its national and international funding channels.
Among those departing is Mark Bray, a self-proclaimed Antifa theorist, author, and assistant professor at Rutgers University. Bray, who has long been accused of promoting extremist ideology under the guise of “anti-fascism,” announced that he intends to relocate to Europe—“preferably Spain”—citing safety concerns.
Before leaving, Bray took to Bluesky, a left-leaning social media platform, issuing what many interpreted as a call to arms:
“Only mass antifascism, legal or not, can save us,” Bray declared.
Despite mounting pressure from Rutgers students—many of whom signed a Change.org petition demanding his removal—Bray reportedly plans to continue teaching online seminars on “Terrorism” and “The History of Antifascism.” On campus, critics mockingly refer to him as “Dr. Antifa,” given his open advocacy for militant far-left resistance.
Bray’s controversial book, Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook, is widely viewed as a practical manual for radical activism. Half of the proceeds from the book, according to investigators, are funneled into Antifa International, an organization that funds hundreds of affiliated groups across the globe, including chapters like Atlanta Antifascists and Central Oregon Anti-Fascist Action.
Reports suggest that Antifa International uses its financial network for far more than bail funds—covering “emergency relocations,” “communications infrastructure,” and “riot-related tactical equipment.” Following President Trump’s latest order, the group announced it was suspending donations “to protect our donors and recipients,” and hinted at moving its operations abroad. The group’s funding previously flowed through U.S.-based platforms such as Patreon, FundRazr, and Action Network.
Trump Moves to Classify Antifa as a Foreign Terrorist Organization
During a recent White House roundtable with independent journalists including Jack Posobiec and Nick Sortor, President Trump confirmed he is considering formally designating Antifa as a foreign terrorist organization — a historic step that would extend international sanctions and law enforcement coordination.
“Well, has that been done? Pretty close, right? Would you like to see it done?” the President asked, turning to reporters.
“Yes, Mr. President,” replied Posobiec.
Trump then turned to Secretary of State Marco Rubio and instructed, “We’ll take care of it.”
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller affirmed the administration’s position, stating:
“Yes, it’s true. There are extensive foreign ties, and I think that would be a very valid step to take.”
U.S. intelligence agencies have reportedly been tracking Antifa’s operational links to groups in Western Europe and the Middle East for months. Officials say the classification would target those networks, disrupting their ability to raise money and coordinate across borders.

The move comes as Antifa agitators have reemerged during protests against immigration enforcement operations and National Guard deployments in cities like Chicago and Portland—both long-standing hotbeds of Antifa activity, especially near ICE facilities.
President Trump vowed immediate action:
“We’re not going to let this happen again. Antifa will be dealt with.”
If enacted, this would mark the first time in U.S. history that a domestically rooted organization is classified as a foreign terrorist entity, empowering law enforcement to seize assets, impose sanctions, and coordinate global investigations.
For President Trump, the message could not be clearer:
“They’ve declared war on America,” he said. “Now we’re declaring it back.”
