Biden Replacement Has Been Revealed
Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, a staunch supporter of President Biden, was unintentionally recorded voicing his dissatisfaction with the presidential election on Wednesday.
“We’re just going to keep fighting. I don’t know what to say. You know, got to do what we have to do,” Pritzker remarked to a man at a crime summit in Chicago. “I don’t like where we are,” he added.
A spokesperson for the governor confirmed that he was discussing the current state of the presidential race and President Biden, who is 81, as the Democratic nominee, in the widely shared video.
At 59, Pritzker has been mentioned as a potential alternative for Biden if the party decides to replace him at the next convention next month. The governor has repeatedly shown his commitment to supporting the president’s candidacy following his poor debate performance.
“Joe Biden is our nominee. I’m for Joe Biden. I’ve been campaigning for Joe Biden,” Pritzker told reporters at an event on Monday.
When asked about a statement from Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who declared she has no plans to run for office, Pritzker refused to rule out his own candidacy. “What I can tell you is I’m not engaging in hypotheticals. You can see I’m all in for Joe Biden,” he said. “Joe Biden’s going to be the nominee for the Democratic Party.”
Despite facing opposition from within his own party, the Biden Campaign has not stepped down and continues its pursuit of the presidency. “He’s going to focus on continuing to work on behalf of the American people, continuing to build on an unprecedented record that he’s been able to achieve with many of these congressional members that he’s proud to have worked with. But that’s his focus right now,” said White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre earlier this week.
President Biden’s team is seeking to bolster support by organizing a news conference during the NATO summit in Washington D.C. on Thursday evening. According to reports, the president is running almost thirty minutes behind schedule. He made an error earlier in the day by mistakenly referring to Ukrainian President Zelensky as “President Putin.”
If the Democrats opt to move away from Biden, they have only one viable option to maintain the Biden Campaign’s financial backing. The most fitting choice would be Vice President Harris, though several polls have consistently shown her trailing behind former President Donald Trump in a head-to-head race.
