Breaking: Netanyahu Orders ‘Immediate and Powerful Strikes’ on Gaza After Hamas Violations
Israel has reached its breaking point after Hamas once again violated the terms of the ceasefire it signed. In response, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the Israeli Defense Forces to launch “immediate and powerful strikes” against Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip, according to a statement from his office reported by the Times of Israel.
Fox News confirmed that the latest Hamas violation took place in Rafah, where two Israeli soldiers were killed earlier this month. Haaretz reported that an anti-tank missile was fired at Israeli troops during the incident.
Hamas says it is postponing the release of the body it claims to have found today in a tunnel in southern Gaza "due to violations by the occupation."

Even before this latest escalation, Israeli anger had been mounting over Hamas’ continued deception surrounding the remains of hostages abducted during the October 7, 2023, massacre. Despite promises made under the ceasefire, Hamas has repeatedly failed to return the remains of the murdered hostages — instead engaging in grotesque manipulation and propaganda.
On Monday, Hamas falsely claimed it had handed over the remains of a thirteenth hostage. In reality, it returned only partial remains of Ofir Tzarfati, whose body had already been discovered by the IDF in December 2023, according to the Times of Israel.
In a shocking act of deceit, Hamas staged a fake “recovery operation,” filming drone footage of its operatives digging up the same remains, reburying them, and pretending to “discover” them again — all while Red Cross representatives looked on.
The IDF publishes the full drone video showing Hamas terror operatives staging the recovery of the remains of a hostage it returned to Israel last night, in front of the Red Cross.

For Tzarfati’s family, the cruelty is unimaginable. His mother, Richelle Tzarfati, told Times of Israel that this marked the third time her son’s remains had been returned.
“What turns the pain into something unbearable is the way Hamas chooses to play with the bodies of our boys, with our pain, with videos, manipulations, and vile presentations,” she said.
She described the psychological torment inflicted on her family:
“It’s a punch to the gut, an arrow to the heart, a wound that opens again and again.”
“We thought we had closed the circle, that we were able to lay Ofir to rest, but today we discovered we never received all of him.”
“I can’t grasp this. How can you bury your child in installments? How can you relive this once, and again, and again? Each time the grave is opened, my heart opens too, and another small piece of me is buried inside.”
The Tzarfati family accused Hamas of staging “false presentations of ‘searches’ and ‘discoveries,’ when it is completely clear they know where most of the hostages are.”
In a joint statement, they added:
“Once again, deception has been inflicted upon our family as we try to heal. This morning we were shown video footage of our beloved son’s remains being removed, buried, and handed over to the Red Cross — an abhorrent manipulation designed to sabotage the deal and abandon the effort to bring all the hostages home.”
The Hostages and Missing Families Forum issued a strong condemnation, declaring that Hamas must be held accountable:
“Hamas’s repeated violations and the IDF’s documentation prove what we have known and stated clearly and unequivocally: Hamas knows the location of the hostages and continues to act with contempt, deceiving the United States and mediators while dishonoring our loved ones. The Israeli government cannot and must not ignore this, and must act decisively against these violations.”
In Jerusalem, officials say the latest attack and ongoing deceptions leave Israel with no choice but to respond forcefully. Netanyahu’s order signals that Israel’s patience has run out — and that Hamas’ manipulation of grief will now be met with the full power of the Israeli military.
