Breaking: White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles Receives Cancer Diagnosis
President Donald J. Trump announced Monday that White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer, sharing the update with the public in a message posted to Truth Social.
In his statement, the president praised Wiles for her resilience and commitment to her duties despite the health challenge.
“Susie Wiles is an incredible Chief of Staff, a great person, and one of the strongest people I know but, unfortunately, she has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer, and has decided to take on this challenge, IMMEDIATELY, as opposed to waiting,” the president wrote.
Trump expressed strong confidence in Wiles’ recovery and credited her medical team for acting swiftly.
“She has a fantastic medical team, and her prognosis is excellent!” he declared. “During the treatment period, she will be spending virtually full time at the White House, which makes me, as President, very happy!”
The president also emphasized Wiles’ determination to continue serving the country while undergoing treatment.
“Her Strength and her Commitment to continue doing the job she loves, and does so well, while undergoing treatment, tells you everything you need to know about her. Susie, as one of my closest and most important advisors, is tough and deeply committed to serving the American People.”
Trump concluded his message by voicing full support from himself and First Lady Melania Trump.
“She will soon be better than ever! Melania and I are with her in every way, and we look forward to working with Susie on the many big and wonderful things that are happening for the benefit of our Country! President DONALD J. TRUMP,” he concluded.
Wiles has developed a reputation in Washington as a disciplined and results-driven leader. Her direct management style and strategic instincts have earned praise from Trump and other top Republican figures since she assumed the role of chief of staff.
Before joining the administration, Wiles built a long career in conservative politics and political strategy, working with prominent Republican leaders such as Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis. Her experience and steady leadership have made her one of the most influential figures inside the Trump White House.
Even while facing treatment, Wiles’ decision to remain closely involved in the administration’s work underscores the dedication that has defined her career in public service.
