Newly declassified intelligence documents have confirmed what millions of Americans long suspected: Hillary Clinton greenlit a campaign strategy to fabricate links between Donald J. Trump and the Russian government in order to distract from her own mushrooming email scandal during the 2016 election.

The explosive revelation, uncovered by Special Counsel John Durham during his extensive investigation into the origins of the Russia collusion narrative, directly implicates top officials from the Clinton campaign—and raises serious questions about the role of the Obama White House and federal intelligence agencies.

According to one of the bombshell memos:

“Clinton approved a plan proposed by one of her foreign policy advisors, Julianne Smith, to ‘smear Donald Trump by magnifying the scandal tied to the intrusion by the Russian special services in the pre-election process to benefit the Republican candidate.’”

The strategy involved “raising the theme of ‘Putin’s support for Trump’” and intentionally manipulating public opinion to blur the lines between actual foreign election interference and mere propaganda—thereby creating a political firestorm that engulfed President Trump’s first term.

These revelations came after Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) requested the declassification of the Durham annex by FBI Director Kash Patel, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and other senior intelligence officials within the new Trump administration.

“Based on the Durham annex, the Obama FBI failed to adequately review and investigate intelligence reports showing the Clinton campaign may have been ginning up the fake Trump-Russia narrative for Clinton’s political gain, which was ultimately done through the Steele Dossier and other means,” Grassley said.

“These intelligence reports and related records, whether true or false, were buried for years,” he added. “History will show that the Obama and Biden administrations’ law enforcement and intelligence agencies were weaponized against President Trump.”

Grassley didn’t mince words about the significance of the cover-up:

“This political weaponization has caused critical damage to our institutions and is one of the biggest political scandals and cover-ups in American history. The new Trump administration has a tremendous responsibility to the American people to fix the damage done and do so with maximum speed and transparency.”

The newly released documents were accompanied by separate declassifications from Director of Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard last week, which directly contradicted years of legacy media narratives. Gabbard’s memos show that U.S. intelligence agencies had no confidence that Russia played a significant role in Trump’s 2016 victory.

A 2016 memo addressed directly to then-President Barack Obama clearly states:

“Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent US election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure.”

While acknowledging failed attempts to probe systems in states like Illinois, the memo states flatly:

“The targeting of infrastructure not used in casting ballots makes it highly unlikely it would have resulted in altering any state’s official vote.”

“Criminal activity also failed to reach the scale and sophistication necessary to change election outcomes.”

In other words, the Russia interference narrative—weaponized for years by Democrats, the corporate press, and intelligence insiders—was known to be a politically motivated falsehood from the very beginning.

Meanwhile, investigative journalist Paul Sperry of RealClearInvestigations posted to X, revealing that more damning evidence is coming:

According to sources, the Obama administration proceeded with Crossfire Hurricane despite receiving credible intelligence casting doubt on the Russian interference theory.
