FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino issued a chilling warning on Saturday, suggesting that the depths of corruption within the federal government are far worse than most Americans realize.

In a lengthy post on his official X account, Bongino revealed that the information uncovered during recent investigations has “shocked me down to my core,” emphasizing that the current trajectory of the federal government is “unsustainable.”

“During my tenure here as the Deputy Director of the FBI, I have repeatedly relayed to you that things are happening that might not be immediately visible, but they are happening. The Director and I are committed to stamping out public corruption and the political weaponization of both law enforcement and intelligence operations,” Bongino wrote.

“It is a priority for us. But what I have learned in the course of our properly predicated and necessary investigations into these aforementioned matters, has shocked me down to my core. We cannot run a Republic like this. I’ll never be the same after learning what I’ve learned,” he added.

Bongino vowed that the investigations will be “by the book” and fully transparent:

“We are going to conduct these righteous and proper investigations by the book and in accordance with the law. We are going to get the answers WE ALL DESERVE. As with any investigation, I cannot predict where it will land, but I can promise you an honest and dignified effort at truth. Not ‘my truth,’ or ‘your truth,’ but THE TRUTH,” Bongino said.

The Deputy Director’s alarming statement came as CIA Director John Ratcliffe announced that his agency is preparing to release explosive new documents linking Hillary Clinton and Obama-era officials to the infamous Russia-collusion hoax that dogged President Donald J. Trump’s first term.

Ratcliffe noted that “underlying intelligence” cited in the annex of Special Counsel John Durham’s report—which detailed how federal agencies mishandled investigations during the 2016 election—is now undergoing final review for declassification.

“So part of what came out last week was about how John Brennan, Clapper, Comey, they all pushed the known fake steel dossier into intelligence community assessments and as the basis for Crossfire Hurricane and all that,” Ratcliffe said.

But the real bombshell, Ratcliffe warned, is yet to drop.

“What hasn’t come out yet and what’s going to come out is the underlying intelligence that I have spent the last few months making recommendations about final declassification and sent that to the Department of Justice that will come out in the John Durham report classified annex,” he added.

According to Ratcliffe, the evidence directly ties Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign to the creation and amplification of the discredited Steele dossier, and also implicates senior FBI officials who allegedly “poured oil on the fire” by helping drive the Russia-collusion narrative.

“The intelligence shows a Hillary Clinton plan, but part of it was an FBI plan to be an accelerant to that fake Steele dossier, to those fake Russia collusion claims by pouring oil on the fire, by amplifying the lie and burying the truth of what Hillary Clinton was up to,” Ratcliffe said.

This revelation adds to mounting evidence that top Obama-era officials—including James Comey and John Brennan—used the debunked dossier as justification to launch a sweeping investigation into Trump’s campaign.

Ratcliffe also accused Brennan of giving false testimony during multiple congressional hearings between 2020 and 2022:

“He also testified to the House Oversight Committee in 2022. Hillary Clinton testified before John Durham under oath in 2022. James Comey testified before the Senate Committee in September 2020. All of that’s within the last five years,” Ratcliffe said during an interview with Maria Bartiromo.

Ratcliffe stressed that the Justice Department under Attorney General Pam Bondi must now pursue accountability:

“Pam Bondi does have a strike force. It is a different Department of Justice, a different FBI, and an opportunity to look at how these people really did conspire to run a hoax, a fraud on the American people and against Donald Trump’s presidency. And so coming forward, we understand that they did this, but now we need to understand how they did this,” he said.

Despite repeated denials by former Obama administration officials, evidence continues to mount that the Steele dossier served as a key catalyst for the FBI’s unprecedented investigation into alleged Trump-Russia communications—a narrative that was later proven to be baseless.
