Dan Bongino Shares Social Media Post on His First Day at FBI

Conservative commentator and newly appointed FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino made waves on Monday morning with a social media post just before stepping into his new role within the Trump administration.

Early that morning, Bongino took to social media, sharing a brief yet powerful message consisting of two American flag emojis.

Immediately, support for Bongino flooded in, with thousands reacting to his post.

“God is watching over you, he chose you for a reason, one to get the truth out, and to help safeguard America. Thoughts and prayers as you begin this new venture,” one supporter commented.

“Good luck today, Dan! I am so incredibly stoked that someone I listened to for years is now going to be Deputy Director of the FBI. You’re a true patriot, and we love you,” another added.

A third user expressed, “Proud to see the stars and stripes flying high. The United States is a beacon of freedom, innovation, and strength. Let’s keep America great and support our brave men and women who defend our nation. God bless America.”

Before officially stepping into his new position, Bongino shared an emotional message with his listeners ahead of his final broadcast on Friday.

Posting on the X platform, he hinted that while it would be his last show for now, it might not be his final one forever.

“Today is my last show. It’s been the honor of a lifetime to have the privilege of being on your radios, your phones, and in your homes, for a few hours each day,” Bongino wrote. “It’s not easy to keep it together as I type this. Please tune in to my last podcast on Rumble at 11A and allow me to say a proper goodbye.”

He concluded his message with, “I’ll see you all on the other side,” along with a link to his broadcast.

President Donald Trump had previously announced Bongino’s appointment as Deputy Director of the FBI in a post on Truth Social last month.

Trump shared his excitement, stating, “Great news for Law Enforcement and American Justice! Dan Bongino, a man of incredible love and passion for our Country, has just been named the next DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE FBI, by the man who will be the best ever Director, Kash Patel. Dan has a Masters Degree in Psychology from C.U.N.Y., and an MBA from Penn State. He was a member of the New York Police Department (New York’s Finest!), a highly respected Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, and is now one of the most successful Podcasters in the Country, something he is willing and prepared to give up in order to serve. Working with our great new United States Attorney General, Pam Bondi, and Director Patel, Fairness, Justice, Law and Order will be brought back to America, and quickly. Congratulations Dan!”

Later, Trump added another note of praise: “Another aspect of the life of Dan Bongino that I think is very important. He has a great wife, Paula, and two wonderful daughters who truly love their dad. What an incredible job Dan will do!!!”

This month, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt addressed concerns in Washington about Bongino’s appointment with a firm response.

“This is a man who loves his country and honorably served our country in ways that many have not,” Leavitt emphasized. “He’s also an outsider to this Washington swamp, and we often see when outsiders are appointed to such coveted positions, a lot of people in this city get very nervous and they should be.”

She continued, “Because Dan Bongino, Director Patel, and Attorney General Bondi are focused on rooting out corruption at these agencies and ending the weaponization of government once and for all.”

Just days before Trump’s announcement, Bongino had also taken aim at Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) on his show, making it clear that his commitment to exposing corruption remains unwavering.
