Dershowitz: Epstein Secrets Buried by Judges — Not President Trump

Renowned constitutional lawyer Alan Dershowitz, who once represented Jeffrey Epstein, is setting the record straight: it’s not President Donald Trump or his administration withholding information in the Epstein case—it’s the New York judiciary.

In a revealing interview with Chris Cuomo on NewsNation, Dershowitz debunked media-driven narratives suggesting that the Trump administration was obstructing the release of Epstein-related documents. Instead, he pointed to two Manhattan judges as the true gatekeepers of the sealed files.

“There’s no client list and never has been,” Dershowitz emphasized. “A client list suggests that Jeffrey Epstein made a list of people to whom he trafficked women. What there is, is a redacted FBI affidavit from accusers… the names of the people accused have been blacked out.”

He added that while he knows who the redacted names refer to, none are currently in public office. “Some of them were previously in office. Some of them are dead,” he said. “But the redactions could be undone if you go to court.”

Dershowitz made clear that Attorney General Pam Bondi and President Trump bear no responsibility for any concealed material. Judicial orders are the reason critical details remain hidden. “Pam Bondi and the Justice Department and Donald Trump are not responsible for that,” he said. “I don’t know of any information that they could disclose that they haven’t disclosed.”

He further criticized the media’s failure to identify names that are already publicly available. “The vast, vast majority of [names] have already been disclosed… They’re in articles all over the world. They’re in books,” he explained.

The former Epstein attorney also questioned the media’s integrity, noting, “If we got everything, everything, you would be shocked how few names are there that haven’t already been disclosed.”

Adding to Dershowitz’s statement, another Epstein lawyer, David Schoen, also came forward to defend President Trump. Schoen, who represented Epstein during his final days in 2019, confirmed that Epstein had no compromising information on the current Commander-in-Chief.

“I was hired to lead Jeffrey Epstein’s defense as his criminal lawyer 9 days before he died,” Schoen wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “I can say authoritatively, unequivocally, and definitively that he had no information to hurt President Trump. I specifically asked him!”

As mainstream outlets continue to peddle conspiracy theories and point fingers at President Trump, the facts tell a very different story—one where judicial bureaucracy and media negligence, not political malice, are obstructing the truth.
