DHS Reveals Shocking Abuse of Migrant Children During Biden Era
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has officially admitted what many conservatives have long warned: the Biden administration’s reckless border policies resulted in unaccompanied migrant children being placed with adults who later impregnated them or exposed them to other serious dangers.
According to The Washington Times, DHS acknowledged Thursday that under Biden’s watch, minors who crossed the southern border alone were released to so-called “sponsors” with disturbing criminal records—some involving child pornography, forced labor, and violent crimes like assault and attempted murder.
The surge of unaccompanied minors—triggered by the administration’s open-border rhetoric and policies—overwhelmed detention facilities. In response, the Biden team chose to expedite releases rather than secure the children's welfare. Now, federal officials are conceding that this approach led to horrific consequences.

The revelations come from welfare checks conducted by Homeland Security Investigations, a division of ICE, which found children living in neglectful and dangerous conditions. In the most disturbing cases, ICE discovered that pregnant girls had been placed with adult males, now identified as their “alleged sponsors.”
Some of these sponsors had criminal records that included prostitution, drug trafficking, and even attempted murder.
Under President Donald J. Trump’s administration, stringent safeguards were in place to protect these vulnerable children. But under Biden, the number of unvetted sponsor placements skyrocketed to more than 18,000 per month, straining the system to the point where even basic checks became impossible.
To deal with the chaos, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) relaxed those safeguards—despite repeated warnings from oversight bodies and experts.
Federal watchdogs have since revealed that HHS lost contact with tens of thousands of children and failed to properly monitor hundreds of thousands more. Conservative child trafficking expert Jarrod Sadulski revealed that of the 100,000 welfare checks attempted, only 5,000 children were located—a tragic success rate of just 5%.
Over two dozen cases raised red flags for human trafficking, and in a chilling detail, Sadulski said HHS ignored more than 65,000 calls to its child abuse hotline for migrant children.
Former ICE Director and border security advocate Tom Homan spoke at the Republican National Lawyers Association’s annual conference, sharing the heartbreaking account of one recent rescue.
“We just found one two days ago. A 14-year-old little girl. Living with two adult males. Who trafficked her,” Homan said.
“We found her, she’s pregnant. From trafficking, being forced into prostitution. 14 years old. We are taking care of her. Both physically and mentally.”
This is heartbreaking. Tom Homan describes a child who was just rescued from a HORRIFIC situation:

While the Biden administration and its media allies dismiss concerns as political posturing, the facts speak for themselves: America’s border crisis is also a child welfare crisis—and it’s the direct result of failed leadership and deliberate policy decisions.
