DOJ Forms Russiagate ‘Strike Force’ To Probe Declassified Obama-era Evidence

The Biden holdovers may have hoped the truth would stay buried, but President Trump’s Department of Justice just turned up the heat.

On Wednesday night, Attorney General Pam Bondi unveiled the formation of a DOJ “strike force” to investigate damning evidence released by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. The disclosures, which have rocked Washington, point to a deeply entrenched scheme led by former President Barack Obama and his top intelligence operatives to fabricate the now-debunked Trump-Russia collusion narrative during the 2016 election.

The move comes just weeks after Gabbard declassified long-suppressed records implicating Obama-era officials in deliberately “manufacturing” intelligence to frame then-candidate Donald J. Trump, now the 47th President of the United States, as a Russian asset.

“The Department of Justice is proud to work with my friend Director Gabbard and we are grateful for her partnership in delivering accountability for the American people. We will investigate these troubling disclosures fully and leave no stone unturned to deliver justice,” Bondi said in a powerful statement.

According to a DOJ official who spoke with Fox News Digital, the new investigative unit will have sweeping jurisdiction to examine all leads related to the origins of the Trump-Russia hoax. The National Security Division is expected to play a central role in the investigation.

Officials described the weaponization of America’s intelligence agencies as a national security crisis. “Everything is being assessed,” a source familiar with the task force said. “No major leads are off the table.”

The DOJ's new task force is modeled after elite teams previously used to target high-level fraudsters and corrupt officials. This time, however, the fraud in question may have reached the highest levels of the Obama administration — and potentially involved criminal misconduct by former intelligence chiefs.

The formation of the task force follows mounting scrutiny of former CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey — both of whom are now facing active criminal investigations initiated by FBI Director Kash Patel.

Earlier this month, CIA Director John Ratcliffe submitted a criminal referral to the FBI after releasing a detailed “lessons learned” review of the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) — the foundational document used to justify years of anti-Trump investigations and media hysteria.

The review uncovered explosive flaws, including “procedural anomalies” and politically motivated decisions to include the discredited Steele dossier, which was financed by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee via Fusion GPS.

The ICA's credibility was undermined by its inclusion of the dossier — a document now widely accepted as false, unverified, and politically constructed. In fact, records revealed that Brennan personally lobbied for the dossier’s inclusion, despite strong objections from career intelligence officers who feared its use violated basic analytic tradecraft.

FBI Director Kash Patel responded swiftly by opening criminal probes into both Brennan and Comey. While the full scope of those investigations remains classified, insiders say the FBI is investigating a coordinated “conspiracy” between the two men — which could pave the way for a host of criminal charges, including conspiracy to defraud the United States, abuse of power, and obstruction of justice.

Though the corporate media has largely downplayed or ignored the ramifications of Gabbard’s disclosures, the Justice Department appears to be treating the matter with deadly seriousness.

The DOJ said the newly formed strike force will be “aggressively investigating and probing” every facet of the now-exposed intelligence manipulation operation. Investigators have been tasked with following the evidence wherever it leads, even if that means taking down some of the most powerful political operatives of the last decade.

This could mark the beginning of a long-awaited reckoning — not just for Brennan and Comey, but for a political establishment that weaponized America’s most sacred institutions to take down Donald Trump.
