DOJ Report Exposes Biden-Era Persecution of Christians: "Weaponized the Federal Government"

The Department of Justice has released its first findings from the Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias, and the conclusions are damning: under Joe Biden, the federal government systematically targeted Christians and their constitutional rights.

According to the report, Biden’s administration oversaw “numerous instances of anti-Christian bias” across federal agencies, actions that directly undermined the nation’s Christian heritage and trampled the First Amendment.

“Joe Biden weaponized the full weight of the federal government against Christians and trampled on their fundamental First Amendment rights,” White House representative Taylor Rogers told Fox News.

“Unlike Joe Biden, President Trump is protecting Christians, not punishing them,” Rogers added.

Systematic Discrimination Documented

The task force documented a disturbing pattern of government-led discrimination:

• State Department: The report said the agency provided less humanitarian relief to persecuted Christians abroad, downplayed global attacks on Christian communities, and favored non-Christian employees in hiring and leave policies. It also forced radical LGBTQ ideology on foreign governments and employees, requiring the use of pronouns and rainbow symbolism that violated the religious conscience of Christians.
• Justice Department: Officials prosecuted nearly two dozen pro-life Christians under the FACE Act for praying and protesting peacefully outside abortion clinics, while refusing to apply the same law to protect churches or crisis pregnancy centers from vandalism and violence.
• Education Department: Biden officials created a so-called “book ban coordinator” who targeted school boards that removed pornographic or age-inappropriate books from classrooms—often after Christian parents raised objections.

The report concluded that Biden’s bureaucracy repeatedly “singled out Christian people, Christian houses of worship, and Christian convictions for disfavored treatment.”

Trump Administration’s Reversal

The report affirmed that those days are over under President Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi.

“Under President Trump and Attorney General Bondi’s leadership, in partnership with all members of this Task Force, the rule of law will be enforced with vigor, and every religion will be treated with equality in both policy and action. The days of anti-Christian bias in the federal government are over. Faith is not a liability in America — it is a liberty,” the report declared.

The task force vowed that “the federal government will never again be permitted to turn its power against people of faith.”

In its conclusion, the report underscored that religious liberty is not a gift from government but a God-given right government is bound to protect:

“America must remain One Nation Under God if she is to remain Indivisible, With Liberty and Justice for All. The Task Force will never permit the federal government to be used as a weapon against faith.”
