Elon Musk Flips – Makes Shocking Announcement Nobody Saw Coming

Last week, tech billionaire Elon Musk revealed to the Daily Mail that he had to read through the findings several times before they truly “sank in,” after his agency—the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)—uncovered a staggering amount of fraudulent unemployment claims.

DOGE’s investigation turned up an alarming number of fake identities tied to benefits payouts, some so bizarre they included recipients “who haven’t even been born yet,” with listed birth dates decades into the future. “DOGE found millions of dollars in unemployment benefits had been paid to ‘fake people,’ including people who haven’t even been born yet, some with birthdates set in the next century,” Musk stated in disbelief.

The report, which focused on 2020 unemployment insurance records, showed that 9,700 individuals collected a total of $69 million through false claims. The kicker? Many of those names were tied to birthdates more than 15 years ahead of our time.

One particularly surreal example was shared by DOGE on Musk’s platform X (formerly Twitter): a person reportedly born in the year 2154 received $41,000 in benefits.

“Your tax dollars were going to pay fraudulent unemployment claims for fake people born in the future,” Musk emphasized. “This is so crazy that I had to read it several times before it sank in.”

In response to critics, Musk pointed to a 2011 video of former President Barack Obama launching a similar initiative, the “Campaign to Cut Waste.” Musk shared the video clip on X, captioning it, “Sounds exactly like DOGE,” highlighting the parallels between the two efforts.

During the video, Obama joked about giving Joe Biden the responsibility of leading the campaign: “Nobody messes with Joe.”

Obama criticized numerous examples of federal waste discovered during that campaign, such as the government funding a website for the “Fiddlin’ Foresters,” a folk band made up of U.S. forest rangers. “I’ll put their music on my iPod,” Obama quipped, “but I’m not paying for their website.”

He continued:

“Everyone knows that getting rid of the deficit will require some tough decisions... But what should be easy is getting rid of the pointless waste and stupid spending that doesn’t benefit anybody, waste we should be getting rid of even if we didn’t have a deficit.”

He added that although some of the savings may seem small, “no amount of waste is acceptable. Not when it’s your money, not at a time when so many Americans are already cutting back.”

Biden also emphasized the importance of accountability:

“There’s a new standard by which the government is going to function... The American people are entitled to transparency.”

He stressed that this wasn’t just about fraud prevention:

“We hope to be instilling an entire new culture... We’re going to give you the government you expect and deserve.”
