Erika Kirk Says Charlie Left Her ‘Everything’ To Continue His Mission

In the wake of her husband’s shocking assassination, Erika Kirk says she now realizes Charlie Kirk had been quietly preparing her for this moment all along.

Speaking with Glenn Beck, Erika revealed that her late husband — the founder of Turning Point USA, a driving force of the conservative youth movement — left behind detailed plans for the future of the organization and his media empire.

“I think Charlie prepared me for this and I didn’t even know it,” Erika told Beck. “He left me the plans for 2028. He left me the budgets for the future. He left this for me.”

She also discovered that Charlie had kept a daily diary — something she never knew existed until she found it after his murder at Utah Valley University earlier this month.

Meanwhile, the Deseret News reported last week that Charlie’s daughter always listened to his show, a tradition sparked by the fact that he carried one of her toys with him whenever he went on air. “That was their little connection,” Erika said. “And he loved it too, because it was a little piece of her that he could have with her on the show.”

Following Charlie’s death, the TPUSA board unanimously voted Erika in as CEO, cementing her leadership of the movement her husband built.

“It’s surreal to actually be sitting, because last time I was standing… But yeah, it’s a little more emotional,” she said, recalling her national address just two days after the assassination.

Andrew Kolvet, Charlie’s longtime show producer, praised Erika’s leadership: “You are rightly at the head of the table, and we’re just so honored to have you here.”

Erika assured listeners and supporters that Turning Point USA, Turning Point Action, and The Charlie Kirk Show will continue strong in her husband’s honor.

“We’ve been very intentional in a way that always keeps Charlie first and his dreams alive and his legacy going,” she said. “‘The Charlie Kirk Show’ is not going anywhere. My husband’s voice will live on. The show will go on.”

She also revealed that Charlie left behind an extensive blueprint for the movement’s growth extending well past 2030 — including decades’ worth of recorded material, unused speeches, and Sunday specials prepared in advance.

“The team is keeping this alive because we have Charlie in each and every one of us,” Erika said. “We need to be able to have people have a show where they can ask questions… and we play a clip of what Charlie said a month ago, a year ago. We have decades worth of my husband’s voice.”

For millions of conservatives who looked to Charlie Kirk as a warrior for truth, freedom, and faith, Erika Kirk’s message is clear: the mission is not over. It’s only beginning.
