Explosive Brawl Breaks Out LIVE On Fox Between Two Top Hosts

Jessica Tarlov attempted to defend "anchor babies," but Greg Gutfeld was quick to deliver a sharp rebuttal on The Five. Speculation has even surfaced that former President Donald Trump might call into the show to personally applaud Gutfeld for his stance.

During a discussion about Trump's recent decision to end birthright citizenship for children of immigrants, Gutfeld left Tarlov without much to say. Within a day of Trump's executive order on Monday, Democratic attorneys general filed a lawsuit, citing a clause in the 14th Amendment that they argue guarantees full citizenship to anyone born in U.S. states or territories.

"Americans voted for it, that’s the difference," Gutfeld asserted, contrasting Trump’s action with former President Joe Biden’s immigration policies, including easing restrictions at the southern border. “I’m just telling you the reality.”

When Tarlov asked if he “voted to revoke birthright citizenship” for immigrants “who are here legally,” Gutfeld questioned her grasp of the topic.

“I think when Donald Trump was talking about it and disparaging people over here, he was talking about undocumented people who come and drop their anchor babies. He wasn’t talking about people who are students here, people who are on H1-B visas…”

“You’re always going to choose this weird exception! The fact is the system is being gamed,” Gutfeld interjected.

He continued: “The fact is, Americans voted for Donald Trump because they saw these systems, these institutions, being gamed. The asylum issue, the birthright citizenship issue, the Title IX issue. Every single part of society was being gamed by the left, and finally, Americans got pushed too far.”

On the same day, Trump signed another executive order that eliminated Biden-era asylum programs for refugees from violence-stricken regions like Haiti and Nicaragua. Critics argued that these programs should remain to assist individuals escaping sickness, war, or natural disasters, rather than economic migrants from collapsing states.

Even if Trump’s decision to end birthright citizenship faces opposition, Gutfeld insisted it aligns with what Americans want. He likened the choice to dining out: “There are things that Trump will do that I will disagree with, but the entire package is as close as you’re gonna get to what Americans want,” he explained.

The Five has proven to be one of Fox News’s most dynamic and contentious programs. Tarlov, often standing alone as a left-leaning voice, frequently clashes with Gutfeld and other conservative hosts like Jesse Watters. These lively debates have proven to be a ratings success for the network.

According to Nielsen data from December, Fox News continues to dominate the cable news landscape. During a recent ratings period, the network captured a remarkable 72% of the primetime cable news audience. For the seventh consecutive year, Fox News led in viewership among the highly coveted 25–54 demographic.
