FBI Uncovers More Weaponization, Makes Progress Against Antifa

FBI Director Kash Patel says the Bureau is nearing a breakthrough in uncovering the leadership structure and funding sources behind far-left anarchist groups such as Antifa, which have been tied to violent unrest and attacks on law enforcement across the country.

In an interview with Just the News, Patel confirmed that federal investigators are pursuing multiple leads related not only to domestic extremism but also to corruption and the weaponization of federal agencies.

“We are looking at so many different leads on criminal activity by those who are in positions of power, and we’re not going to stop until every single one of those is fully exposed,” Patel said.

Pressed on whether more indictments are forthcoming against officials accused of abusing federal power, Patel said his agency is making full use of the legal tools available:

“The documents are provided either to Congress or the courts of law, and we make every referral we can under the Department of Justice.

“These indictments that you’ve seen, and the ones that you’re going to see coming up here in this near future, are just the beginning.”

A longtime ally of President Donald J. Trump, Patel has ordered his team to declassify and release tens of thousands of pages of documents previously withheld from Congress. These files reportedly detail systemic misconduct within federal law enforcement and intelligence circles, spanning Russiagate, the Ukraine impeachment hoax, the January 6 investigation, and the FBI’s 2022 raid on Mar-a-Lago.

The release of those records has already led to criminal charges against former FBI Director James Comey, indicted for allegedly lying to obstruct a congressional probe into media leaks, and former National Security Advisor John Bolton, charged with mishandling classified information, Just the News reported.

Patel cautioned Americans that dismantling what he calls a “weaponized government” will take time, noting that the entrenched corruption being exposed today has been built up over decades.

“Everybody’s like, it’s seven months. What have you guys been doing? Well, they spent 20 years building this diseased temple of corruption,” Patel said. “It takes a little bit of time to defeat it and beat it down.

“I’m not asking you to trust me. I’m asking you to look at the work the men and women of the FBI have done so far in these seven, eight months, and just imagine what we’re going to do come the year’s end.”

Turning to Antifa, Patel revealed that federal agents have made significant progress mapping out the money trail and identifying the individuals who coordinate the movement’s violent activities.

According to Patel, early findings suggest that Antifa’s funding may stem not only from domestic nonprofit groups that enjoy IRS tax-exempt status but also from foreign adversaries intent on destabilizing the United States.

“Look, the thing I can tell you is that money doesn’t lie, and the thing we’re doing at the FBI is following the money,” Patel said. “And thanks to President Trump, we now have Antifa designated, rightfully so, as a domestic terror organization. And we have had multiple investigations going on.”

Patel said the Bureau is using social media intelligence networks and civilian influencers—some of whom recently met with President Trump at the White House—to gain insight into Antifa’s coordination tactics.

“We are using social media and the influencers that the President had here just this last week, because they’re the ones on the ground, getting us ground-level intelligence,” Patel explained. “Law enforcement isn’t able to enter these spaces, and these people are brave enough to do it.”

His comments came just after a federal grand jury indicted two individuals allegedly tied to Antifa on terrorism charges following a July attack on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Texas.

The development underscores the administration’s intensifying focus on domestic extremism, transparency within federal institutions, and the restoration of law and order under President Trump’s leadership.
