Former Epstein Lawyer Says Trump Is Not On ‘The List’

A former attorney for Jeffrey Epstein has once again shot down left-wing conspiracy theories linking President Donald J. Trump to the disgraced financier’s notorious network — this time making it clear that Trump had nothing to hide and was not on any so-called Epstein “client list.”

David Schoen, who represented Epstein just nine days before his suspicious jailhouse death in 2019, stated flatly that he personally asked Epstein whether he had any compromising material on President Trump — and received a definitive “no.”

“I was hired to lead Jeffrey Epstein’s defense as his criminal lawyer 9 days before he died. He sought my advice for months before that. I can say authoritatively, unequivocally, and definitively that he had no information to hurt President Trump. I specifically asked him!” Schoen wrote in a post on X.

Schoen’s statement resurfaced Monday amid fresh scrutiny of the Trump administration’s approach to Epstein case files. Critics have tried to revive tired smears suggesting that President Trump might be hiding something — despite having been the only high-level political figure to expel Epstein from Mar-a-Lago and direct a full DOJ review into the Epstein-Maxwell web.

A leaked DOJ memo last week, obtained by Axios, reaffirmed that Epstein died by suicide and that no “client list” for blackmail purposes ever existed.

Former Trump attorney Alan Dershowitz, who also once represented Epstein, confirmed this in a NewsNation interview with Chris Cuomo, slamming the media’s false narrative and placing the blame where it belongs — with activist judges, not the Trump administration.

“No, there’s no client list and never has been a client list. A client list suggests that Jeffrey Epstein made a list of people to whom he trafficked women. What there is, is a redacted FBI affidavit from accusers,” Dershowitz explained.

He continued, clarifying that the DOJ under Trump has not withheld any actionable evidence and that two judges in Manhattan are responsible for suppressing material — in the name of protecting alleged victims’ identities.

“Pam Bondi and the Justice Department and Donald Trump are not responsible for that. I don’t know of any information that they could disclose that they haven’t disclosed.”

Dershowitz also revealed that the individuals named in redacted documents are largely not in public office, with some no longer living — debunking the idea that Trump is shielding allies or obstructing justice.

“I can tell you right now: None of them are public figures who are currently in office. Some of them were previously in office. Some of them are dead.”

He went on to say that most of the names have already been publicly exposed — and that media outlets have failed to dig deeper into existing records.

“You would be shocked how few names are there that haven’t already been disclosed. The media hasn’t… done a good enough job in finding the people who have been disclosed in the public record.”

Meanwhile, President Trump has directed the Department of Justice to release all credible evidence related to Epstein and his network — an order being carried out by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche in coordination with ongoing interviews, including recent meetings with Ghislaine Maxwell.
