Former Staffer for AOC Charged With Attempting to Incite Riot At Jewish School
A radical activist with ties to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s political machine has been arrested after allegedly calling on thousands of social media followers to target a New York City high school because it has Jewish students.
Iman Abdul, 27, who once worked as a youth organizer for Ocasio-Cortez and also canvassed for far-left New York State Sen. Julia Salazar, was taken into custody Friday at her Brooklyn home, The New York Post reported.
In a since-deleted post, Abdul allegedly told her roughly 25,000 followers, “If anyone needs a public school in NYC to attack for whatever reason … Lexus driving Israhell loving Zionisits all attend here.” She attached a Google Maps screenshot of Leon M. Goldstein High School for the Sciences in Manhattan Beach, adding, “They’ve all gone on ‘Birthright,’” referencing the program that offers Jewish young adults free trips to Israel.

According to police, Abdul is charged with making a terroristic threat, aggravated harassment, making a threat of mass harm, and acting in a manner injurious to a child.
Her arrest adds another troubling chapter to the far-left orbit surrounding Ocasio-Cortez — who has faced her own ethical controversies.
Last month, the House Ethics Committee revealed that AOC violated congressional gift rules over her appearance at the 2021 Met Gala, where she famously wore the “Tax the Rich” gown. According to the committee, she accepted over $3,700 in gifts for the event but ultimately paid less than $1,000, and not until months later.
The panel said Ocasio-Cortez failed to promptly pay for her Brother Vellies couture gown, designer shoes, jewelry, handbag, and hairpiece — valued at $3,724.04 — and only sent $990.76 after repeated attempts by vendors to collect payment. Some invoices went unpaid for nearly six months, with at least one hairstylist threatening legal action and to report her campaign to the New York Department of Labor.
Evidence also showed her former campaign manager, Rebecca Rodriguez, tried to slash the dress rental price from $1,300 to $300 and left other bills unpaid. The committee determined that while Ocasio-Cortez did not “intentionally” underpay, her staff’s handling of the matter violated House standards.
No formal sanctions were issued, but the Democrat lawmaker must now pay $2,733.28 to the designer and donate $250 to cover her boyfriend’s Met Gala dinner.

Under House ethics rules, members of Congress are prohibited from accepting gifts except in limited circumstances — such as tickets to a charity event if invited by the hosting organization.
