Former Trump Lawyer Giuliani In ‘Critical But Stable’ Condition
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has been hospitalized and is currently in critical but stable condition, according to a statement shared Sunday evening, prompting an outpouring of support from political allies and public figures across the country.
The update was posted by Ted Goodman, a longtime associate who recently launched a livestream program with Giuliani.
“Mayor Rudy Giuliani is currently in the hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition,” Goodman wrote. “Mayor Giuliani is a fighter who has faced every challenge in his life with unwavering strength, and he’s fighting with that same level of strength as we speak.” He added: “We do ask that you join us in prayer for America’s Mayor Rudy Giuliani.”
Upon learning of the situation, Donald J. Trump took to Truth Social with a forceful message of support, praising Giuliani’s legacy and resilience.
“Our fabulous Rudy Giuliani, a True Warrior, and the Best Mayor in the History of New York City, BY FAR, has been hospitalized, and is in critical condition. What a tragedy that he was treated so badly by the Radical Left Lunatics, Democrats ALL — AND HE WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING!” Trump wrote. “They cheated on the Elections, fabricated hundreds of stories, did anything possible to destroy our Nation, and now, look at Rudy. So sad!”
Even political figures outside Giuliani’s inner circle acknowledged his contributions. A spokesperson for former NYC Mayor Eric Adams emphasized that the moment transcends partisan divides.
“On behalf of Eric Adams, we are wishing strength, good health, and a full recovery to Rudy Giuliani—a man who devoted his life to public service,” the statement read. “From his years as a federal prosecutor to leading New York City through its darkest day on 9/11, he stood with this city when it needed him most.

“Public service at that level demands sacrifice, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to the people you serve,” the statement continued. “Whatever differences may exist, those contributions deserve respect. We are keeping him and his family in our thoughts.”
Giuliani’s hospitalization comes months after a serious car accident in New Hampshire that left him with multiple injuries. According to reports at the time, he had stopped to assist a woman fleeing a domestic violence situation and remained at the scene until authorities arrived.
Shortly after leaving, the vehicle he was traveling in was struck from behind at high speed on Interstate 93 in Manchester. His spokesman, Michael Ragusa, later confirmed that Giuliani suffered “a fractured thoracic vertebrae,” along with several lacerations, contusions, and injuries to his arm and leg.
“This was not a targeted attack,” Ragusa said at the time. “We ask everyone to respect Mayor Giuliani’s privacy and recovery, and refrain from spreading unfounded conspiracy theories.”
Authorities identified the driver involved in the crash as 19-year-old Lauren Kemp of Concord, who rear-ended the vehicle Giuliani was in.
In the aftermath of that incident, Giuliani’s son, Andrew Giuliani, expressed gratitude for the public’s support.
“Thank you to all the people that have reached out since learning the news about my Father. Your prayers mean the world,” he wrote. “As a son, I can tell you I’m honored to have a Dad that I can call the toughest SOB I’ve ever seen!”
Now, as Giuliani faces another serious health challenge, supporters are once again rallying behind the man many still refer to as “America’s Mayor,” hoping for a full recovery from a figure who has long been a central presence in both New York City leadership and national politics.
