Foul-Mouthed Left-Wing Podcaster Viciously Attacks Melania Trump

Left-wing podcaster Jennifer Welch unleashed a deeply personal attack against first lady Melania Trump during a recent episode of her show, denouncing her as an “absolutely horrific person” while also targeting the entire Trump family.

Welch, who co-hosts the popular “I’ve Had It” podcast with Angie “Pumps” Sullivan, said she felt no sympathy for the first lady.

“I don’t like anything for Melania,” Welch said in a clip posted to social media.

“And I wish I could be the bigger person and say that I do, but I don’t,” she continued. “I don’t like anything possible for her. She is, I think, just an absolutely horrific person.”

Her comments represent another example of the intensely personal hostility directed at Trump’s family by prominent voices in progressive media.

Welch Targets Melania’s Marriage and Documentary

Welch expanded her tirade to Melania’s marriage to President Donald Trump and the lucrative distribution agreement surrounding the first lady’s documentary, “Melania.”

Amazon MGM Studios reportedly paid approximately $40 million for the rights to the documentary and an accompanying series, followed by another $35 million in marketing and distribution expenses.

The film chronicled the 20 days preceding Trump’s second inauguration in January 2025.

Welch characterized the $40 million agreement as a “payoff” before making crude assertions about the president and first lady’s private relationship.

She then attacked the broader Trump family, branding them “the most dysfunctional family in the United States” and objecting to their association with traditional Christian values.

The remarks also exposed a familiar double standard in left-wing media. Figures such as former President Joe Biden and Hunter Biden have faced years of questions surrounding influence, money and foreign business relationships, yet progressive commentators frequently reserve their most vicious personal attacks for the Trump family.

The first lady’s office did not respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

Profanity Becomes a Political Brand

Welch has gained prominence in progressive political media through “I’ve Had It,” which combines left-wing politics, cultural commentary and comedy.

GQ recently described her as an influential figure within the “dirtbag left,” a loosely organized corner of progressive media known for deliberately vulgar, confrontational and provocative rhetoric.

Welch identifies herself as an atheist raised in the Bible Belt and frequently attacks Republican officials, conservative politics and organized religion.

Her podcast has previously drawn criticism for controversial remarks unrelated to the Trump family.

While Welch has every right to express her political opinions, the escalation of dehumanizing rhetoric against public figures and their families comes amid mounting concerns about politically motivated threats and violence.

There is no publicly established connection between Welch’s comments and a separate security case involving a man arrested at Trump’s California golf club. The timing, however, underscores the dangerous political environment confronting the president and his family.

Suspect Allegedly Had Melania’s Schedule

Prosecutors revealed Wednesday that Jeanine John Taele, 38, allegedly possessed detailed information concerning Trump’s security operation, including copies of Melania’s schedule and information about Secret Service personnel assigned to protect the president.

Authorities said Taele possessed seven notebooks containing 208 pages of writings, sketches and drawings related to Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.

The notebooks allegedly contained Secret Service schedules, information about individual agents and detailed instructions for surviving “off the grid.”

Los Angeles County Judge John Lonergan Jr. described the allegations as “alarming.”

“This case itself is alarming in this day and age with the violence that is creeping into our everyday lives, especially with our partisanship in the political environment” ahead of the midterms, Lonergan said, according to The Associated Press.

Loaded Firearm Allegedly Found

The disclosures came weeks after plainclothes federal agents allegedly encountered Taele at the golf club on Aug. 2.

Investigators said he was walking around the property, recording photographs and videos and apparently monitoring security preparations ahead of an anticipated visit by Trump.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies subsequently detained him.

Authorities allegedly found a 16-round magazine loaded with hollow-point ammunition inside Taele’s pants pocket.

A search of his vehicle reportedly uncovered a loaded handgun with a round in the chamber, along with another magazine containing hollow-point ammunition.

The allegations against Taele remain subject to the judicial process, and Welch’s podcast comments are not alleged to have played any role in his conduct.

Taken together, however, the two developments highlight the grim political climate surrounding the Trump family: vicious personal attacks have become entertainment for the Left even as law enforcement confronts disturbing potential threats against the president and first lady.
