Fox News host Harris Faulkner wasn’t about to let former Democrat Rep. Pat Murphy rewrite history — or dodge responsibility for the wreckage Democrats have left behind over the past 15 years.

During Thursday’s edition of The Faulkner Focus, Faulkner delivered a cold dose of reality to Murphy after he attempted to whitewash the catastrophic losses the Democrat Party suffered under Barack Obama — and later tried to deflect blame for the inflationary disaster under Joe Biden.

Early in the segment, former George W. Bush adviser Marc Thiessen broke down the brutal numbers Democrats can’t escape:

“Barack Obama’s presidency is the moment the Democratic Party abandoned Clintonian centralism for left-wing politics. It was a disaster for the Democratic Party,” Thiessen declared.

He noted that under Obama:

• Democrats lost 1,027 elected offices nationwide
• The party lost 12 Senate seats, 63 House seats
• At the state level: 939 legislative seats and 12 governorships vanished
• And worst of all, 8.3 million Americans who voted for Obama flipped to vote for President Donald Trump

That’s not just a repudiation — it’s a political bloodbath.

After Thiessen laid out the facts, Faulkner gave Murphy a chance to respond. Instead of acknowledging reality, he attempted to pivot to personality:

“Barack Obama is one of the most successful presidents we had,” Murphy claimed, before Faulkner immediately cut him off.

“Wait! Wait! Wait! So, he’s talking about the actual politics of winning, and you want to talk about the man’s personality?” Faulkner fired back, refusing to let the conversation be derailed.

Murphy scrambled to recover by reciting talking points about Bin Laden, troop increases in Afghanistan, and the Affordable Care Act — but it was clear he had no response to the electoral carnage his party faced under Obama.

This isn’t the first time Faulkner had to correct Murphy on-air. Back in April, during a discussion on President Trump’s newly announced reciprocal tariffs, Murphy tried — once again — to blame Trump for the very economic crisis Biden has overseen.

As he rattled off concerns about inflation and record-high credit card debt, Faulkner interrupted:

“Well, you wanted it for the last four years because you tolerated it,” she shot back.

Murphy tried to paint a picture of economic hardship under Trump, but Faulkner wasn’t having it. She reminded viewers that the worst debt delinquencies and inflation spikes occurred under Biden, not Trump.

“Two things here, two facts,” she stated. “One, you have different presidents and notice what happened to the inflation… Second, the highest that we’ve ever seen people in debt actually happened about 12 months ago.”

Faulkner pointed to data from credit reporting bureaus showing Americans were turning to debt counseling services in record numbers, thanks to inflation-fueled hardship and stagnant wages under Biden’s economy.

Harris Faulkner is doing what too few journalists are willing to do — calling out the gaslighting and forcing Democrats to confront their record. Whether it’s the historic failure of the Obama years, or the crippling inflation, job loss, and economic anxiety under Joe Biden, the facts are plain:
