Gavin Newsom Facing Fury After Comment About Vance’s Children
California Governor Gavin Newsom, the leading contender for the 2028 Democratic presidential nomination, is facing serious backlash after targeting Vice President J.D. Vance’s family during their recent vacation to Disneyland — all while defending violent criminal illegal aliens tied to a child labor trafficking scandal in his own state.
As Vice President Vance, his wife Usha, and their children quietly visited Southern California, far-left demonstrators turned the family getaway into a spectacle. Around 100 communist-aligned protesters descended on Disneyland, jeering and waving Mexican flags near the family’s hotel. Local Democrats encouraged the harassment, despite the visit being non-political.
“I’m offended by the visit,” said Orange County Supervisor Vicente Sarmiento, bizarrely linking Vance’s presence to immigration enforcement actions carried out in a different county.

View PlansNewsom, never one to miss a cheap political jab, took to X (formerly Twitter) to attack the Vice President:
“Hope you enjoy your family time, @JDVance. The families you’re tearing apart certainly won’t,” he wrote from his official government account.

The governor’s post appears to reference a federal immigration raid in Ventura County last week, where over 300 illegal aliens were detained at Glass House Farms, a massive marijuana grow operation. Among those detained was a violent sex offender who had previously been convicted of kidnapping, attempted rape, and attempted child molestation. Shockingly, the criminal was found working alongside 10 undocumented minors, including eight unaccompanied children, in apparent violation of child labor laws.
“This illegal alien was apprehended at the California marijuana facility,” wrote CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott, attaching a photo of the offender.
“Turns out he had been sentenced to 7 yrs for kidnapping & attempted rape… and this felon was working at the same farm as 10 kids – one being 14 yrs old.”
Despite the chilling nature of the crimes involved, Newsom defended the illegals caught up in the raid — instead choosing to vilify Vice President Vance for daring to spend time with his own family.
The reaction on social media was swift and scathing.
“He’s not returning your underage illegal alien indentured servants to work on your donor’s pot farm, if that’s what you’re asking,” conservative commentator Will Chamberlain wrote on X.
“You’ve got some nerve trying to shame JD Vance for being a father,” added legal analyst Viva Frei. “You have been facilitating child trafficking for forced labor, Newscum.”
DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin responded with blistering clarity:
“These are the violent monsters @GavinNewsom is defending… This is depraved.”

He was sentenced to 7 years for KIDNAPPING & attempted RAPE. He also had a prior conviction for attempted child molestation.

The Glass House operation is now under federal investigation, not only for labor law violations but for alleged child trafficking and exploitation. Video evidence and eyewitness reports indicate that violent clashes broke out during the raids, with radical activists seemingly tipped off before federal agents arrived.

View PlansThe entire affair exposes the disturbing disconnect between Newsom’s rhetoric of “compassion” and the real-world consequences of sanctuary policies and lax border enforcement: criminal predators working with minors in drug operations — while the governor mocks an American vice president spending time with his family.
At a time when illegal child labor, sex offenders, and cartel-linked operations are flourishing under California’s far-left regime, Gavin Newsom chose to attack the victim’s side — again.
