George Soros' Involvement in Nationwide 'No Kings' Protests Uncovered
The so-called “No Kings” protests sweeping across major U.S. cities this weekend are being hailed by left-wing media as a grassroots uprising against President Donald J. Trump — but the real story, once again, appears to trace back to billionaire activist George Soros and his vast political funding network.
According to Fox News, the group orchestrating the demonstrations — Indivisible, founded by progressive operatives Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin — is bankrolled heavily by Soros’ Open Society Action Fund, which poured $3 million into the organization in 2023 alone “to support the grantee’s social welfare activities.”
Indivisible isn’t a new player in the progressive ecosystem. The group has been one of the most aggressive anti-Trump advocacy outfits since its creation in the wake of the 2016 election, coordinating with other left-wing groups to flood congressional offices, stage protests, and disrupt conservative events. The irony, however, is that the same organization now leading “No Kings” rallies previously attacked Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer for not shutting down the government earlier this year.
Levin blasted Schumer in March, saying he had “done a great deal of damage to the party” by refusing to block GOP funding bills. He even accused the senator of “leading the charge to wave the white flag of surrender” and claimed that Trump and Elon Musk were leading an “administrative coup.”
Now, Schumer is a featured guest at the very “No Kings” rallies driven by Indivisible’s Soros-backed infrastructure — a perfect snapshot of how left-wing activism often cannibalizes itself before uniting around the next anti-Trump campaign.
Financial records reveal a dense web of connections between Soros’ network and Indivisible:
- Indivisible has received at least $7.61 million from Soros-linked foundations over the years.
- In 2017, the group was granted $350,000 from Tides Advocacy, a group affiliated with the Tides Network, which itself has been accused of funding anti-Israel and pro-violence campus movements.
- Greenberg, Indivisible’s co-director, previously worked as policy director for Tom Perriello’s Virginia gubernatorial campaign — and Perriello later served as executive director of Soros’ Open Society Foundations from 2018 to 2023.
Despite the unmistakable paper trail, Soros’ organization insists there’s no coordination. “Our grantees make their own decisions about their work, consistent with the law and the terms of their grant agreements,” a spokesperson for the Open Society Foundations told Fox News.
That claim isn’t convincing to conservatives who’ve seen this playbook before. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) told Sean Hannity this week that “there is considerable evidence that George Soros and his network are behind funding these rallies, which may well be riots all across the country.” Cruz emphasized that the Trump administration and Republican-led Congress are determined to confront “this network of left-wing violence” head-on.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent confirmed in an interview on The Charlie Kirk Show that the administration’s Treasury Department is working with the IRS to investigate “criminal inquiries of left-leaning groups” suspected of funding violent demonstrations. “We are operationalizing this here at Treasury,” Bessent said. “We are going to track down who is responsible for this.”
President Trump himself weighed in earlier this year, calling for a federal investigation into Soros and his son Alex Soros, suggesting their political operations could fall under RICO statutes.
“George Soros, and his wonderful Radical Left son [Alex Soros], should be charged with RICO because of their support of Violent Protests, and much more,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “We’re not going to allow these lunatics to rip apart America any more… Soros, and his group of psychopaths, have caused great damage to our Country!”
As the “No Kings” rallies unfold, federal investigators are reportedly monitoring how Soros-linked dollars are being funneled into protest coordination, transportation, and communications — including Indivisible’s digital infrastructure managing “data and communications with participants.”
Whether these events remain “peaceful” or devolve into more of the left’s now-familiar chaos, one thing is certain: the fingerprints of George Soros’ network are all over the operation. And this time, the Trump administration seems determined to follow the money all the way to the source.
