Ghislaine Maxwell Breaks Silence, Wants To Testify On Epstein
Convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell is reportedly prepared to testify before Congress amid renewed public outrage over the Department of Justice’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case, including the release of questionable surveillance footage and the DOJ’s latest claim that no “Epstein client list” exists.
At 63, Maxwell remains the only person imprisoned in connection to Epstein’s sprawling child sex trafficking operation, serving a 20-year sentence. Meanwhile, none of Epstein’s high-powered associates — who allegedly took part in the abuse of underage girls — have been held accountable.
According to sources cited by Daily Mail, Maxwell “would be more than happy to sit before Congress and tell her story,” adding that, “No one from the government has ever asked her to share what she knows.” The insider emphasized that Maxwell was never offered a plea deal and sees an open hearing as a chance to finally expose the truth.

View PlansMaxwell was convicted in 2022 for her role in luring and grooming girls for Epstein over a decade-long period. Yet she has consistently claimed innocence, pointing to a 2007 Non-Prosecution Agreement signed between Epstein and the federal government — a controversial “sweetheart deal” that resulted in minimal jail time for the financier and allegedly shielded his network of enablers.
This offer to testify comes at a time when the Department of Justice’s credibility is under renewed fire. The DOJ recently declared that there is no Epstein client list, despite overwhelming public belief — and long-standing suggestions from both the media and lawmakers — that such a list exists. Additionally, newly released jail footage from New York’s Metropolitan Correctional Center, where Epstein allegedly committed suicide, has raised more questions than answers. Critics point out the footage conveniently misses key moments and fails to show the inside of Epstein’s cell or even his cell door.

The Department’s claims have not only angered the public, but sparked backlash among conservatives, especially within the MAGA base. President Trump, now in his second term, is facing heat from some supporters after publicly defending Attorney General Pam Bondi, whose department insists there’s no client list to release.
Retired Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn, Trump’s former National Security Advisor, made his frustration known on X:
“.@realDonaldTrump please understand the EPSTEIN AFFAIR is not going away… If the administration doesn’t address the massive number of unanswered questions about Epstein, especially the ABUSE OF CHILDREN BY ELITES, then moving forward on so many other monumental challenges our nation is facing becomes much harder.”
Internal tensions within the DOJ have also reportedly reached a boiling point. According to Fox News, FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino clashed with Bondi over what he described as a “lack of transparency”, even threatening to resign over the cover-up.

View PlansDespite Epstein’s 2008 guilty plea for soliciting minors and his 2019 arrest on new federal charges, none of the elite figures he was known to associate with — from tech billionaires like Bill Gates to royalty and politicians — have faced scrutiny or prosecution.
Maxwell, for her part, appears eager to break the silence — if only Congress has the courage to call her forward.
