Hillary Clinton Smears Christians After Charlie Kirk Tragedy
Hillary Clinton sparked outrage Wednesday after using an MSNBC appearance to equate Christian conservatism with efforts to “turn the clock back” on American progress—remarks critics say take direct aim at the movement Charlie Kirk proudly represented before his assassination earlier this month.
Speaking with Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski on Morning Joe, the former secretary of state praised America as a “work in progress” but then launched into an attack on what she described as nostalgia for a society dominated by “white men of a certain persuasion, a certain religion, a certain point of view, a certain ideology.”
Clinton declared such values were “doing such damage to what we should be aiming for.”
"The idea you could turn the clock back and try to recreate a world that never was, dominated by — let's say it! White men of a certain persuasion, certain religion, certain ideology, it's just doing such damage to what we should be aiming for!"

The irony wasn’t lost on viewers. Clinton called for Americans to “stop demonizing each other” while immediately demonizing the right—claiming conservatives want to dominate the public square and whitewash history.
Her comments come just two weeks after Kirk, 31, a bold defender of Christianity and one of the nation’s most visible conservative activists, was gunned down in Utah. Prosecutors say the accused killer, Tyler Robinson, was driven by left-wing ideology.
Critics say Clinton’s rhetoric, whether intentional or not, sounds like a green light to radicals. Conservative commentator Jack Posobiec, a close friend of Kirk, warned that Clinton’s framing will be heard by “the violent left” as encouragement to target the very demographic Kirk represented.
The remarks also echo Clinton’s 2023 call for “formal deprogramming” of Trump supporters—proof, conservatives argue, that her hostility toward Christians and the right is not new.
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump has pledged to pursue federal investigations into groups enabling political violence, and his administration is weighing measures to strip tax-exempt status from organizations tied to extremist activity.
Trump’s tribute to Charlie Kirk was heartfelt and fierce.

He honored Charlie’s mission, his love for America’s youth, and his family — while blasting leftist narratives that have smeared patriots like Charlie as villains for years.

For many, Clinton’s broadside against “white men of a certain religion” was more than a gaffe. At a moment when the conservative movement is mourning one of its brightest voices, Clinton chose to vilify the same faith and values Kirk defended.
Far from healing polarization, her attack deepens America’s divides—and shows just how unwilling Democrats remain to confront the violence within their own ranks.
