‘HOLY CRAP’: President Trump Just Made History
President Donald J. Trump is once again proving why he remains the most dominant political figure in America. After a temporary dip, support from baby boomers—one of the most crucial voter groups in the country—is roaring back, giving Trump a major advantage heading into the 2026 midterms.
According to the latest data from Quantus Insights, the President’s approval among Americans aged 65 and older has flipped from dead even to decisively positive. In just a few short weeks, Trump’s numbers climbed from a flat 49% approve/49% disapprove to an impressive 56% approval and only 41% disapproval. That’s a stunning +15-point net swing in his favor.
These figures reaffirm what conservatives already know: older Americans trust Trump’s leadership, his economic stewardship, and his unapologetic defense of American values.

View PlansBaby boomers were instrumental in returning Trump to the White House in 2024, with a solid majority backing him at the polls. As Democrats double down on radical agendas and open-border lawlessness, older voters are turning back to the man who prioritizes national sovereignty, energy independence, and law and order.
Other polls, largely conducted by left-leaning firms, paint a less dramatic picture—yet none show meaningful erosion in Trump’s support among seniors. A YouGov/Economist poll claims a steady 45% approval rating among seniors, unchanged from May. ActiVote’s numbers show a slight drop, but nothing outside the margin of error. Marist and Fox News surveys also reveal stability or modest improvement.
Despite relentless attacks from the legacy media and Democrat operatives, President Trump’s popularity not only holds firm—it’s growing. And not just with seniors.
CNN's own data analyst Harry Enten—no friend of Trump—delivered a jaw-dropping admission this week: “Republicans love Donald Trump in his second term more than they did in his first.” According to Enten, 63% of Republicans strongly approve of Trump in 2025, compared to 53% at this point in 2017.
“So, we’re going to look at the strongly approved numbers. So, this isn’t just Republicans who like Donald Trump. This is Republicans who love Donald Trump. And he’s up like a rocket,” Enten admitted. “In July 2017, the strongly approved was 53 percent. That’s pretty good. But look at where he is now, 63 percent of Republicans strongly approve of the job that Donald Trump is doing about five months into his presidency.”
Enten wasn’t done: “Republicans love Donald Trump the way that Americans love Disney World... It is history-making.”
He even noted that Trump’s approval among Republicans is higher than any prior GOP president in recent memory. “Donald Trump is making history with the Republican base... He is more beloved by this Republican base than any Republican base loved any GOP president five months in,” he said.
And the power of Trump’s political brand extends beyond polling. As Enten pointed out, “95 percent plus of the time, the Trump-endorsed candidate wins in GOP primaries. And even in the cases where Donald Trump endorses a challenger to an incumbent, the majority of the time that challenger wins.”

View PlansQuoting the film Good Burger, Enten added: “You go against Donald Trump… you go in the grinder. Donald Trump is the key nugget. His endorsement’s the key nugget in a GOP primary because he’s historically strongly popular with the GOP base.”
With baby boomers doubling down on their support and Trump’s GOP approval surging to historic highs, 2026 is shaping up to be yet another referendum on his America First agenda—and Democrats may not like the outcome.
