Humiliating Moment On Fox News As Guest Appears Drunk During Live Show
What was supposed to be a routine Fox News interview turned into a viral spectacle after intelligence analyst Rebekah Koffler appeared on camera visibly disoriented — and apparently under the influence — during a segment reacting to President Donald J. Trump’s massive military parade in Washington, D.C.
Koffler, a Russian-born former CIA operative and author known for her national security expertise, was invited to comment on Trump’s show of military strength on Saturday. Instead, viewers were greeted with a smiling, slurring Koffler who struggled to get through even her first sentence.
“I am so excited, uh, Emily and… Lucas Tomlinson!” she declared, prompting Fox host Lawrence Jones to let out an uneasy laugh as social media lit up with questions about whether she had been drinking.
Producers allowed the segment to continue for more than a minute as Koffler praised Trump’s leadership and lavished praise on the armed forces.
“Everybody, like, this is incredible! Finally, the United States is, uh, is back. I want to thank all of our Army, Navy, and Air Force officers, who have been sacrificing their lives… literally,” she said, sounding out her words with effort while trying to maintain composure.
Her commentary grew more scattered as she continued.
“Because of the mismanagement of the, uh… But with our new president, Donald J. Trump, they are prioritizing America First.”
As she rambled, the correspondents interjected with polite acknowledgments — almost certainly under instruction to bring the segment to a close.
“Lawrence Jones, you’re rocking man!” she exclaimed before turning to another co-host. “Like you guys are incred– like Lucas. I wanna thank–”
“Thank you,” Emily Compagno jumped in, quickly ending the segment. “Thank you so much, Rebekah, and thank you for your service.”
Shortly after, it became clear the incident may have been foreshadowed. Just before going on air, Koffler posted — and later deleted — a candid message on X.
“Well, @POTUS is apparently encroaching on my airtime! My hit is moved to 8:20 – 8:30 pm depending on how long #Trump takes. I’m honored. Refilling my #champagne glass while waiting for my hit! 🇺🇸”

Yet even as the clip dominated online conversation, another, far more consequential media clash erupted behind the scenes — this one involving two of the most influential conservative voices in the country, and centering on President Trump’s ongoing efforts to negotiate a stability deal with Iran.
In an exclusive interview with The Daily Mail, Tucker Carlson responded to reports that Fox News host Mark Levin had recently met with President Trump and White House Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff in an effort to dissuade the administration from pursuing a diplomatic agreement with Tehran.
“It’s amazing how much old people love wars,” Carlson said of Levin.
Carlson then posted on X: “Mark Levin was at the White House today, lobbying for war with Iran. To be clear, Levin has no plans to fight in this or any other war. He’s demanding that American troops do it.”
After Politico revealed the meeting, Levin unleashed a fiery rebuttal, dismissing the outlet as “a group of people who were pushing propaganda” and insisting he was not leading any organized pressure effort.
“He and I are very close friends,” Levin said of Trump. “The president knows exactly where I stand on Iran, and he told me he knows exactly where I stand on Iran because he watches my shows on Fox.”
“What I am not doing and what I would not do to Donald Trump,” Levin said, “is lead a lobbying campaign of hawks.”
Levin then took direct aim at Carlson, accusing an “isolationist cabal” of spreading details of the White House conversation.
“Levin won’t take your crap,” he said. “He doesn’t like bullies. I’m more than happy to engage with you.”
With Trump working to chart a new course on U.S.–Iran policy — balancing strength with strategic restraint — the ideological rift within conservative media appears to be widening, even as grassroots voters overwhelmingly support the President’s America First approach.
