James Carville: Biden ‘Has Nobody To Blame But Himself’ For Damaged Legacy

Seasoned Democratic strategist James Carville made waves this week by openly criticizing former President Joe Biden, suggesting he would be better off retreating to his Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, home and “staying there.”
Appearing on the “Politics War Room” podcast, Carville, who has previously expressed concerns about the Democratic Party leaning too far into “woke” ideology, placed the blame squarely on Biden for the public’s growing disinterest in hearing from him.
“What he’s done to himself is no one wants to hear from this guy anymore. Okay, just go to your condo in Rehoboth and stay there. And that’s not because we’re bad people or we’re mean people. It was all his doing. All his doing, this entire thing,” Carville remarked, emphasizing that even Democrats are reluctant to engage with Biden.
Carville also dismissed Biden’s repeated assertions that he could have defeated Trump in the November election had he stayed in the race.
“No one f***ing believes that at all!” Carville declared emphatically.
He further criticized Biden for his disputes with First Lady Jill Biden and filmmaker Alexandra Pelosi, adding, “I mean, just look, guy — you had a noble career. Your last act was terrible. Just get out of the way. The party’s moving on. I mean, they’re really moving on, and it’s very sad, but that’s just where we are. And he created this himself. He has nobody to blame but himself. Nobody.”
Podcast co-host Al Hunt chimed in, suggesting that Biden “really has no role to play in the national dialogue” and would be better off dedicating his time to raising funds for a library rather than remaining in the public eye.
Carville echoed this sentiment, warning that Biden’s continued presence in politics could prove harmful.

In contrast, former President Donald Trump has launched a bold challenge to Biden’s progressive “climate” agenda, rolling out a series of executive orders aimed at boosting domestic fossil fuel energy production.
The orders include a declaration of an “energy emergency,” intended to shield the administration from certain legal challenges while advancing new drilling initiatives and other energy production measures.
“The breadth of the decisions may well be the most dramatic shift in U.S. energy policy since the response to the ban on oil exports from Arab members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries in 1973,” reported Just the News.
Shortly after taking office, Biden signed executive orders rejoining the Paris Agreement—a nonbinding global pact to limit greenhouse gas emissions and curb temperature increases to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels. Over four years, his administration’s climate agenda introduced various measures, such as stricter appliance efficiency standards, halts on liquefied natural gas export permits, and EPA regulations on power plants.
Trump’s “energy emergency” strategy focuses on critical mineral mining for national security, emergency energy resource approvals on public lands, and streamlining energy infrastructure development. One executive order prioritizes Alaskan energy resource development, while another overturns several of Biden’s climate-related directives, including the withdrawal of the U.S. from the Paris Agreement.
Jeff Reynolds, senior editor at Restoration News, suggested that Trump’s decisive opposition to Biden’s climate policies reflects a sharpened perspective. Reynolds argued that while Trump previously displayed patience during his first term, his approach has shifted after observing the actions taken by Democrats under Biden’s leadership.
“Now he knows where the bodies are buried, and he’s ready to take a meat axe to everything that got in his way the first time,” Reynolds told Just the News.
While Trump’s wave of pro-fossil fuel actions aligns with his “drill, baby drill” mantra, energy analyst David Blackmon, known for his “Energy Absurdities” Substack, predicted that a substantial increase in U.S. energy production remains unlikely.
