If we are judged by the enemies we make, then President Donald J. Trump's supporters can count this week as a badge of honor.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett, a far-left Democrat from Texas best known for her racially charged rhetoric and unhinged tirades, appeared on the Next Question with Katie Couric podcast Thursday, where she took time out of her rant to label Trump voters part of a “mental health crisis.”

Yes, really.

The same party that decries “division” and calls for “unity” continues to smear and slander more than half the country simply for supporting the duly elected President of the United States.

Crockett, who has a long track record of incendiary comments, accused Trump of treating America’s troops as a “special little army” and claimed that anyone who supports his constitutional authority as commander in chief is “sick.”

“This idea that we don’t care how many people get hurt, we don’t care how we prostitute our service members — you know, thinking that you have your own special little army that’s for you. I mean, it is sick. It is really sick. And anybody that supports it is also sick,” Crockett said.

In other words, Crockett believes that restoring order in American cities, deploying troops to quell lawless mobs, and defending our borders — all powers well within the president’s constitutional purview — are signs of authoritarianism.

She went on to claim, without irony, that President Trump’s widespread support is proof of national psychosis.

“We’ve got a mental health crisis in this country, because everyone, no matter how you affiliate yourself, should be against Trump. Period.”

Of course, this isn’t new. Democrats have been vilifying ordinary Americans for decades. Barack Obama mocked middle America as people who “cling to guns or religion.” Hillary Clinton famously called Trump voters “a basket of deplorables.” Joe Biden went even further, referring to Trump supporters as “garbage.” And now Jasmine Crockett has joined the ranks of the D.C. elite who despise the very people they claim to represent.

Just last year, Clinton again floated the idea that Trump voters need to be forcibly reprogrammed.

“At some point, you know, maybe there needs to be a formal deprogramming of the cult members,” she told CNN in October 2023.

It’s no coincidence that these attacks come from the same people who scream about democracy while working every day to suppress the will of the American voter. And as always, their projection knows no bounds: accusing Trump of authoritarianism while they openly fantasize about silencing dissent, reeducating political opponents, and weaponizing government against conservatives.

And yet, despite their arrogance, President Trump continues to command the loyalty of millions of Americans — because his supporters know exactly who their enemies are.

If people like Jasmine Crockett and Hillary Clinton are against you, you’re probably doing something right.
