Justice: Kimmel Mocked Roseanne’s Cancellation — Now She’s Ready to Take His Job
ABC has suspended “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” indefinitely after the late-night host spread a blatant falsehood, claiming that the man accused of attempting to assassinate Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was a supporter of President Donald Trump. The smear was a lie — and few will shed a tear for Kimmel’s downfall.
For years, Jimmy Kimmel has reveled in the misfortunes of others, especially conservatives. Now, the tables have turned.
Kimmel’s Role in Roseanne’s Cancellation
Back in 2018, Kimmel seized on Roseanne Barr’s infamous tweet about Valerie Jarrett, a former Obama advisor. He labeled it racially offensive simply because Jarrett is black, despite the fact that Barr never explicitly compared her to an ape.
“Roseanne, you’re not going to believe this, but she tweeted something outrageous,” Kimmel said mockingly during his monologue.
“ABC decided to cancel their highest rated show ‘Roseanne’ following a tweet in which Roseanne compared an African-American woman, a former advisor to President Obama to an ape, which did not sit well with ABC management or anyone with a brain, really.”
Kimmel doubled down, mocking Barr further by airing clips of “Roseanne” without her character and joking the network could rebrand the sitcom as “Dan” after John Goodman’s character.

Barr’s original tweet — now deleted — was posted during a time when she was openly struggling with mental health challenges. While not an excuse, it offered critical context. The same leftists who preach compassion for mental health patients gave her none. Instead, ABC, urged on by media elites like Kimmel, axed the show.
Kimmel’s Pattern of Targeting Conservatives
Roseanne wasn’t the only target. In 2023, Kimmel cheered the ouster of Tucker Carlson from Fox News, peddling the tired smear that Carlson was aligned with Russia.
“Tucker couldn’t be reached for comment. He’s already on a plane to Moscow to meet with his manager,” Kimmel quipped.
He called Carlson “one of the most despicable mother tuckers ever to appear on American television.”
This is who Jimmy Kimmel has become: a smug voicepiece for the leftist elite, relishing every conservative downfall.
Roseanne Gets the Last Laugh
Now, the script has flipped. Roseanne Barr is enjoying the spectacle of Kimmel’s professional collapse. She even offered on X to step in if ABC needs a replacement.

And in response to California Gov. Gavin Newsom warning Democrats about the blowback they’re facing after celebrating Charlie Kirk’s death, Barr told her followers, “Today is better than my birthday.”

Poetic Justice
The irony couldn’t be sharper: Jimmy Kimmel once gloated about Roseanne’s cancellation. Now, after his own lies have caught up to him, Barr may get the last laugh — and perhaps even his time slot.
His downfall isn’t just personal karma. It’s a clear example of how the left’s arrogance, dishonesty, and contempt for conservative America eventually collapse under their own weight.
If Kimmel is gone for good, it won’t be a loss for the country — only the end of another late-night megaphone for smug liberal propaganda.
