Karoline Leavitt Torches HuffPost Reporter After Harassment: “You Are a Far-Left Hack”

Something remarkable is happening inside President Donald J. Trump’s second administration. After years of media hostility, slanted narratives, and open disdain toward conservatives, the patience of Trump’s team has clearly run out.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt delivered the latest example Monday, when she publicly called out HuffPost reporter S.V. Dáte for badgering her with biased questions — and for blowing up her phone with what she described as “disingenuous, biased, and bulls***” messages.

On X (formerly Twitter), Leavitt posted a screenshot of the exchange that quickly went viral:

“Is the president aware of the significance of Budapest?” Dáte texted, referencing an upcoming meeting between President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Your mom did,” Leavitt replied.

“Is this funny to you?” Dáte asked.

“It’s funny to me that you actually consider yourself a journal,” Leavitt shot back. “You are a far left hack who nobody takes seriously, including your colleagues in the media, they just don’t tell you that to your face. Stop texting me your disingenuous, biased, and bulls*** questions.”

In a post accompanying the screenshot, Leavitt summed up the larger issue:

“Activists who masquerade as real reporters do a disservice to the profession.”

Leavitt’s blunt response — which followed her now-famous “your mom” retort to the same reporter last week — sent a message that resonates far beyond the White House press room. It’s a declaration that the Trump administration will no longer legitimize left-wing activism disguised as journalism.

A New Generation of Fighters

President Trump’s second term has brought together a bold, younger team of leaders who are unapologetically America First — including Secretary of War Pete Hegseth (45), Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard (44), Vice President JD Vance (41), Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller (40), and Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt (28).

These officials represent a generation forged in the political fire of the Trump movement — people who saw firsthand how the corporate media, the Washington bureaucracy, and the old political class united to try to destroy one man and the movement he built.

As former Hawaii congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard revealed in July, the Obama administration’s intelligence apparatus actively pushed the now-discredited Russia collusion hoax — a lie the establishment media carried like gospel for years. The same false premise — that Russia is the great boogeyman of “democracy” — still drives many of today’s loaded questions from liberal reporters like Dáte.

Leavitt’s refusal to play along marks a turning point. She, like many in Trump’s circle, has stopped pretending that mainstream media figures are objective truth-seekers. They are ideological operatives, and they should be treated accordingly.

The End of Pretending

The cultural tide is shifting. Americans are rejecting lies — from the fantasy that men can become women to the notion that left-wing journalists are neutral arbiters of truth.

Leavitt’s viral takedown is more than just a mic-drop moment; it’s a reflection of a wider awakening. The era of appeasing biased media is over. When activists in press badges come calling, conservatives no longer owe them polite cooperation.

As Leavitt herself made clear — the new rule is simple: Mock the hypocrisy, reject the double standards, and stop pretending these people have moral authority.

So the next time a reporter from the establishment media flashes their credentials, do what Karoline Leavitt did: ask them if they graduated from Your Mom University.
