Look: Lib Tries to Embarrass Vance With Pic Comparing Him and Newsom as Kids, Then Internet Sends Avalanche of Humiliating Newsom Pics

Budding psychologists could spend their entire careers studying one thing: the modern liberal’s uncanny ability to self-own.

On Sunday, a left-wing user on X, going by “YungPut1n,” attempted to embarrass Vice President JD Vance by posting side-by-side high school photos of Vance and California Gov. Gavin Newsom. The comparison backfired instantly.

The photo of young Newsom showed him sitting stiffly, dressed in a button-down shirt, jacket, and plaid scarf, pretending to read a newspaper. He looked more like a smug, entitled elitist than an average American teenager.

By contrast, Vance was pictured in a bathroom with two girls joking around near the men’s urinal. With a goofy haircut and goofy grin, he looked like a normal high-school kid who didn’t take himself too seriously — something millions of Americans can relate to.

Some liberals cheered the photo as if it reflected poorly on Vance. But once the internet weighed in, the narrative collapsed.

X users quickly responded with images of Vance in his Marine Corps uniform — a stark reminder of his service and sacrifice compared to Newsom’s pampered upbringing. Others pointed out their life trajectories: Vance, who rose from poverty in Ohio, and Newsom, who coasted into privilege and politics on family connections.

One commenter summed it up perfectly:
“Confirmed: Gavin was a greasy-haired narcissist even back then.”

This is hardly the first time Newsom has embarrassed himself. Back in January, as California wildfires raged, a distraught woman confronted him over his disastrous response. Newsom pretended — yes, pretended — to be on the phone with then-President Joe Biden to dodge her questions.

When she called him out, he doubled down on the lie, saying:
“I’m sorry, There’s literally, I’ve tried five times. That’s why I’m walking around to make the call.”

A man willing to fabricate phone calls in the middle of a natural disaster is unfit to lead. Yet Newsom refuses to step aside, harboring delusional presidential ambitions — perhaps envisioning a showdown with JD Vance in 2028.

Liberals clearly don’t understand what Americans admire. They celebrate slick narcissism and phony posturing, while mocking humility, humor, and service. In the end, their “attack” only reminded voters why Newsom embodies everything broken about the Democratic Party — and why JD Vance represents the future.
