MTG Torches Crockett Over Lies About Charlie Kirk’s Assassin: “An Insult to Every Single Republican”
During a heated House Oversight Committee hearing, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) dismantled Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s (D-TX) desperate attempt to frame the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk as the work of a so-called “MAGA” supporter.
Crockett clung to a flimsy Yahoo News report suggesting that 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, the alleged assassin, was aligned with President Donald Trump simply because his grandmother once claimed the family was “all MAGA.”
Greene was quick to set the record straight, reminding the committee and the public that Robinson’s lifestyle and beliefs bore no resemblance to conservatism or the America First movement.
Greene Corrects the Record
“Thank you Mr. Chairman, I can assure you that the man, the 22-year-old man, Tyler Robinson, that murdered Charlie Kirk is not MAGA,” Greene said.
“His family may be Republican, but all of the evidence that is being presented proves that he is a far-leftist and very much integrated in online groups that are linked to Antifa. He was in a relationship with a biological male, a so-called furry, whatever that is, that is transitioning to be a fake woman. He was not MAGA, not one bit. That is a complete lie and it’s an insult to every single Republican and person that identifies with those type of politics.”
Greene further warned that Crockett’s false framing contributes to real threats against conservatives.
“This is what led to President Trump nearly getting assassinated this past summer. This is what has led to Charlie Kirk getting assassinated. And so I just want to give a warning there, we’re not going to tolerate that anymore.”
The Leftist Reality Behind Robinson
Despite the media’s rush to blame conservatives, Robinson’s background paints an unmistakable picture of a radical leftist consumed by fringe subcultures:
- Far-Left Obsessions: According to Utah County Attorney Jeffrey Gray, Robinson grew “more pro-gay and trans-rights oriented” in the years leading up to the murder.
- Disturbing Evidence: Investigators uncovered bullet casings engraved with phrases like “hey fascist! CATCH!” and “bella ciao,” both tied to Antifa and left-wing movements. Another engraving, “NoTices Bulge OWO What’s This?” was a crude reference to “furry” culture.
- Lifestyle and Associations: Robinson lived with his transgender boyfriend, Lance Twiggs, and both were heavily engaged in “furry” culture. Reports indicate Robinson was fixated on a sexually explicit game called Furry Shades of Gay. He also followed artists who produced disturbing “furry porn,” including content with pedophilic and feederism themes.
- Open Hostility to Conservatives: A relative of Twiggs admitted he “hates conservatives and Christians,” according to the New York Post.
- Murder Confession: Robinson allegedly confessed the assassination to Twiggs in text messages, writing that he “had enough of [Kirk’s] hatred” and that “some hatred can’t be negotiated out.”
Media’s Dangerous Narrative
Rather than acknowledging the truth, much of the press parroted the false claim that Robinson was conservative, Republican, and Christian simply because of his family’s background. Greene condemned this narrative as reckless and dangerous — one that vilifies ordinary Republicans while ignoring the radical extremism breeding within the far left.
What Democrats attempted to spin as another “MAGA threat” is, in reality, the result of unchecked radicalization in progressive subcultures openly hostile to Christians, conservatives, and President Trump’s supporters.
