Noem Supports Criminal Charges Against CNN For Anti-ICE App Promo

CNN may have finally crossed a legal line in its relentless campaign to undermine immigration enforcement.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem warned Monday that the liberal cable network could face legal consequences for promoting a mobile app that tracks ICE agents, effectively helping illegal immigrants avoid arrest and deportation.

Appearing on Hannity, Noem echoed a similar warning from U.S. Attorney Pam Bondi, who announced this week she would investigate whether CNN violated any federal laws by broadcasting a report on the app.

“Okay, a 700% increase against agents and you’ve got groups that are — and I had Pam Bondi on about this last night, they are warning people,” host Sean Hannity said. “Are they not aiding and abetting in law-breaking? Are they not responsible for obstructing justice? And she was very open into looking into the criminality of it, or potential criminality of it.”

Noem didn’t hesitate.

“Yes, absolutely. I believe, in my opinion, that they are,” Noem said. “And that’s why I’m so thrilled that Pam is willing to be proactive and go after those individuals that would perpetuate this kind of activity against our law enforcement officers.”

She went on to defend the brave men and women of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Border Patrol, who have seen violent threats against them skyrocket.

“These ICE agents, these law enforcement officers, Border Patrol agents, they get up every single day and are working to get these dangerous criminals off of our streets, are heroes. They are absolute heroes. And to hear the amount of violence that’s coming up against them, a 700% increase in just the last several months against them and their families — they are not just going after them, they are also doxxing their families and threatening their children,” she said.

Noem emphasized that these agents are protecting their own communities, unlike under Joe Biden’s administration, where border enforcement was neutered and lawlessness became policy.

“These individuals just love America and believe that the law should apply to everybody. They are doing their jobs that Joe Biden never let them do, and they are protecting their own communities.”

What CNN did, she argued, goes beyond biased reporting — it may amount to criminal behavior.

“To have someone like CNN openly describing how to use technology to reveal the activities and the operations that these law enforcement folks are trying to conduct, it’s shameful and it could be prosecutable. So I’m glad Pam is looking into it,” Noem stated.

Hannity responded with a blistering critique of CNN’s dishonest reporting:

“And you said, ‘I’m calling out you, CNN, I’m calling you because you lie every single day about what these operations are.’ There has been a lot of lying, Madam Secretary, it’s been going on for four years, ‘The border is closed, the border is secure.’ No, it’s not.”

As the Trump administration works to rebuild America’s border enforcement under President Donald J. Trump’s second term, CNN is not just peddling falsehoods — it may be aiding criminal behavior, according to top officials.

Meanwhile, CNN’s parent company Warner Bros. Discovery is crumbling under the weight of its own corporate bloat and ideological excess. The network — once the crown jewel of left-wing media — is now seen as a liability.

According to Fox News, Warner Bros. Discovery is splitting into two companies, spinning off its cable properties (including CNN) from its streaming and studio divisions. Insiders say the move is a long-overdue shakeup of CNN’s bloated structure.

“Putting a bean counter as CEO sends a very clear message: this is finally the beginning of the long-overdue correction of the [Jeff] Zucker-era excesses,” a media insider told Fox News.
“It’s not just the overpriced talent. It’s the overpriced producers. The overpriced executives. The superfluous reporters who barely are on the air. All will either be exited or forced to take massive pay cuts.”

In short, CNN may be heading for a legal reckoning — not only from inside the courtroom but from inside its own crumbling corporate tower.
