Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is in full panic mode after President Donald J. Trump signed into law the most sweeping immigration enforcement package in American history—his long-promised “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.”

With $170 billion allocated toward securing the border and restoring law and order, Democrats are scrambling to reframe the bill as something sinister. But conservatives are calling it exactly what it is: the long-overdue return to national sovereignty.

The legislation includes $45 billion for detention facilities, $30 billion in direct funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and nearly $50 billion for the continued construction of President Trump’s iconic border wall.

Still, rather than address the crisis at the southern border or the devastation wrought by unchecked illegal immigration, Ocasio-Cortez took to the far-left social media platform Bluesky to issue apocalyptic warnings and vague accusations.

“I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE,” she wrote. “This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion – making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA, & others combined.”

In a particularly reckless remark, she added, “It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing,” offering no proof or specifics to support the inflammatory claim.

Ocasio-Cortez’s meltdown followed praise from Trump administration officials who hailed the bill as a landmark achievement in restoring the rule of law.

White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham: “The most robust, comprehensive border security and immigration enforcement package we’ve ever seen. One that will allow us to deport millions upon millions of invaders.”

“To oppose this bill is to support the invasion,” Miller added bluntly.

President Trump himself commemorated the signing last week, using the July 4th weekend to celebrate ICE’s role in what he has dubbed the largest mass deportation effort in U.S. history.

“This July 4th weekend I want to give a big ‘THANK YOU!’ to the Heroic ICE Officers fighting every day to reclaim our Sovereignty and Freedom,” the president wrote on Truth Social.

“One of the most exciting parts of the ‘ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL ACT’ is that it includes ALL of the Funding and Resources that ICE needs to carry out the Largest Mass Deportation Operation in History,” he added. “We will not let America become a Third World Country filled with Crime, failing Schools, collapsing Hospitals, and total Social Dysfunction.”

He concluded, “It’s called ‘REMIGRATION’ and, it will, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Trump’s border czar Tom Homan, one of the most effective and unapologetic enforcers of immigration law, revealed in a recent podcast that he has faced escalating threats due to his work—and that his own family has been forced to live separately for their safety.

“I spent a lot of time with my boys growing up, but as I got more and more—climbed the ladder... I don’t see my family very much,” Homan told Pod Force One host Miranda Devine. “My wife’s living separately from me right now... mostly because of the death threats against me.”

Despite the threats and personal sacrifice, Homan is unwavering. He recalled the moment President Trump personally asked him to rejoin the administration following his landslide 2024 victory over Kamala Harris.

“I was the first person he called, bringing [me] back, which, again, was a proud moment,” Homan said. “I was actually out to dinner with my wife, and then my phone rang, and I looked down, and it says, ‘POTUS.’”

“He said, ‘You’ve been bitching about it for four years. Well, come back and fix it.’ So how do you say no?” Homan recalled.

As Democrats like AOC continue sounding the alarm over ICE’s new resources, conservatives are celebrating a long-overdue victory for the rule of law and national security. The Big Beautiful Bill isn’t just a budget—it’s a border revolution.
