Pelosi Goes On Wild Tirade Against Trump, Calls Him a ‘Vile Creature’

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi erupted into a blistering tirade this week, unleashing a string of inflammatory accusations against President Donald Trump while portraying him as a “vile creature” and even a monarch bent on dismantling the Constitution — claims that have no grounding in reality.

Speaking at a chaotic press event in Washington, D.C., Pelosi declared, “Donald Trump is the worst president for the children we have ever had. And that is why we must organize to stop his extreme agenda and save our health care.” Her remarks echoed earlier comments she made to CNN’s Anderson Cooper, where she again referred to President Trump as a “vile creature.”

Pelosi, who has increasingly leaned on apocalyptic rhetoric since leaving House leadership, accused the president of everything from acting like a king to abolishing the House of Representatives — an assertion that veers into the absurd.

“Our founders did not want a king, so they separated the power. That’s the beauty of the Constitution,” she claimed, before launching into a breathless list of false allegations.

“Because he’s the President of the United States, and he does not honor the Constitution of the United States. In fact, he’s turned the Supreme Court into a rogue court. He’s abolished the House of Representatives, he’s chilled the press. He’s scared people who are in our country legally, but making them – smashing into their cars and the rest,” Pelosi said.

These remarks come as scrutiny intensifies over Pelosi’s own extraordinary wealth accumulation during her 37 years in Congress. According to a Daily Caller News Foundation analysis, Pelosi’s net worth exploded by at least 2,292% — skyrocketing from a minimum of $2.67 million when she entered Congress to nearly $64 million in 2024. Quiver Quantitative places her current fortune even higher, at approximately $278.76 million.

Her 2024 disclosures list a maximum estimated net worth of $311.4 million — an astronomical leap from when she first took office in 1987. In 2024 alone, Pelosi’s portfolio nearly doubled the gains of the S&P 500, a performance that has fueled widespread suspicion and renewed calls for a ban on congressional stock trading.

Despite the optics, Pelosi’s office maintains she has no involvement in the trades, insisting her husband, Paul Pelosi, handles the family’s investments and that she has “no prior knowledge” of any transactions.

Nevertheless, in July, Pelosi voiced support for Republican-led legislation to ban stock trading by members of Congress, presidents, and vice presidents — on the same day President Trump publicly called for an investigation into her financial dealings.

“We must have strong transparency, robust accountability and tough enforcement for financial conduct in office because the American people deserve confidence that their elected leaders are serving the public interest — not their personal portfolios,” Pelosi said at the time.

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee advanced the reform bill July 30.

President Trump has long criticized Pelosi’s financial conduct. In 2022, he told Breitbart News: “She has inside information. It’s not right. It’s not appropriate. It shouldn’t be. She doesn’t want to discuss that. She wants to discuss other things that shouldn’t be discussed.”

He added: “I happen to watch her and see her and dealt with her a lot and I think she’s clever in one way and stone-cold crazy. She should not be allowed to do that with the stocks. She should not be allowed to do that. It’s not fair to the rest of this country.”

Pelosi’s stock trades have become such a lightning rod that even lawmakers from her own party have joined calls to prohibit the practice, arguing that public trust is eroding as elected officials repeatedly outperform the market by suspicious margins.

As Pelosi ramps up her attacks on President Trump — even as she prepares to retire in 2027 — the contrast between her rhetoric and her financial track record continues to draw sharp criticism across the political spectrum.
