Police Have Repeatedly Been Called to the House at the Center of Letitia James' Legal Troubles: Report
Newly uncovered reports reveal that police have been dispatched numerous times to properties in Virginia owned by indicted New York Attorney General Letitia James, raising new questions about her judgment and associations as her legal troubles deepen.
According to the New York Post, the two Virginia homes tied to James have drawn roughly two dozen police visits in recent years. One of those properties — purchased in August 2020 — is now at the heart of a bank fraud indictment alleging that James lied about the intended use of the home in order to obtain a more favorable mortgage rate.

A Troubled Tenant With a Long Rap Sheet
The primary tenant at that property, 36-year-old Nakia Thompson, has an extensive criminal history spanning multiple states. Police records show at least twelve visits to the home, including six separate incidents in October alone. Officers reportedly responded for a range of issues — from vandalism and domestic disputes to serving warrants and subpoenas.
Thompson is currently wanted in Forsythe County, North Carolina, for violating probation on charges including malicious conduct by a prisoner, assault of a government official, and resisting a public officer. In Virginia, her charges include possession of burglary tools, grand larceny, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

In 2019, Thompson was charged with larceny involving over $2,000 in stolen merchandise from retail stores in Chesapeake, Virginia. She later received two years of probation and was ordered to pay $2,020 in restitution. More recently, she was charged with using profane, threatening, or indecent language over public airwaves after allegedly threatening to punch a school administrator.
A Second Property Under Scrutiny
James’ troubles don’t stop there. The Attorney General — already under criminal referral for alleged bank fraud — is also facing scrutiny over a second Virginia home purchased in 2023. That property is currently occupied by Cayla Thompson-Hairston, a 21-year-old OnlyFans model, along with her mother, Shamice Thompson-Hairston, and sister, Courtney.

Between April 2024 and April 2025, police have been called to that residence ten times, responding to warrant services, assault reports, and domestic disputes. Notably, nine of those visits occurred in just six months — suggesting a pattern of ongoing disturbance.
In April 2024, Cayla Thompson-Hairston was charged with lying about her criminal record while attempting to purchase a firearm, despite a prior felony charge for malicious wounding in August 2020 that legally barred her from gun ownership. Additional charges include grand larceny for allegedly stealing $1,600 in merchandise from a Norfolk Walmart and a 2019 shoplifting arrest.
As President Donald J. Trump’s Justice Department continues to emphasize accountability in public office, the case surrounding Letitia James — who once championed herself as a watchdog for integrity — is rapidly evolving into a symbol of the political double standards and moral decay infecting the Left’s top officials.
