President Trump Blasts ‘Terrible’ Fox News Polling, Calls for Talent Shake-up on ‘The Five’
In a candid phone-in appearance on Fox News’ The Five this Thursday, President Donald J. Trump demonstrated once again why he remains the most direct communicator in American political history. The President, currently leading the nation through a decisive second term, did not hold back in his assessment of the network’s internal data or its choice of on-air contributors.
During the segment, President Trump took aim at the network’s polling unit, labeling their recent metrics "terrible." The President’s frustration appears rooted in a perceived disconnect between Fox’s data and the overwhelming support he sees from the American grassroots. He contrasted these figures with recent data from unlikely sources that confirm his base remains more energized than ever.
“Our people like it,” President Trump said, referencing the ongoing strategic efforts regarding the Iran War. “100 percent — think of it — 100 percent, in a CNN poll, a CNN poll, which are the worst polls.”
The President was referring to recent CNN data, highlighted last week by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on X, which confirmed a staggering 100 percent approval rating among his MAGA supporters.

Despite his general affinity for the network's prime-time lineup, the President expressed long-standing grievances with the Fox News polling apparatus, which recently released a survey claiming 58 percent of respondents oppose necessary military action in Iran—a figure at odds with the administration’s focus on national security and peace through strength.
“Almost as bad as Fox polls,” the President remarked regarding typical CNN methodology. “I hate Fox polls. Honestly, whoever does your polls, they’re terrible. Rupert Murdoch has promised me for years he’s going to get rid of your pollster, but he doesn’t do it. I don’t get it. But your Fox polls are terrible.”

A Recommendation for Ratings
The President also offered some "executive advice" regarding the program’s rotating cast. While offering high praise for Greg Gutfeld—whose late-night program continues to dominate the ratings by skewering the woke establishment—Trump noted the absence of the show’s resident liberal, Jessica Tarlov.
“I’m glad Jessica’s not there,” the President quipped, drawing chuckles from co-hosts Greg Gutfeld and Jesse Watters. “Because, I think, no, actually I think your show would be better without her. But, you know, who am I to say that? I think it would be a lot better.”
Taking the Fight to the Senate
Beyond the media landscape, President Trump utilized the appearance to pivot toward the legislative battles defining his second term. He reinforced his recent calls for Senate Republicans to defend the constitutional order by preempting radical Democrat tactics.
The President urged Senate leadership to "nuke" the filibuster, a move he argues is necessary to ensure the America First agenda is not held hostage by obstructionist minorities. Earlier that day on Truth Social, the President challenged Republicans to terminate the filibuster before Democrats seize the opportunity to do so themselves and enact a radical left-wing transformation of the country.

And he says it immediately after praising Greg Gutfeld 🤣
