Public Memorial For Charlie Kirk Scheduled In Arizona

Turning Point USA has announced that a public memorial service for its late founder, Charlie Kirk, will be held on Sunday, September 21, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona — home of the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals.

“Join us in celebrating the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Charlie Kirk, an American legend,” TPUSA wrote in its announcement on X. Doors will open at 8 a.m., with the service beginning at 11 a.m. The Cardinals will be on the road that day, allowing the 63,000-seat stadium to be used for the event.

The Glendale service will cap nearly two weeks of tributes and vigils nationwide. In Phoenix, thousands have gathered at TPUSA headquarters, where flowers and flags honor Kirk’s life beneath a banner reading, “May Charlie be received into the merciful arms of Jesus, our loving Savior.”

At Liberty University in Virginia, students locked arms in prayer, singing Amazing Grace. Texas A&M students organized a candlelight vigil. Across the country, Americans have paused to remember a man whose life was cut short while defending the principles of faith, free speech, and liberty.

Kirk’s casket returned to Arizona on Thursday evening aboard Air Force Two, escorted by Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance. A military honor guard oversaw the transfer, with the vice president himself helping to carry the casket. As the aircraft landed, Phoenix air traffic controllers paid their own tribute over radio: “Welcome home, Charlie. You didn’t deserve it… May God bless your family.”

Kirk’s widow, Erika, later released a video statement alongside her husband’s casket, thanking President Donald Trump, Vice President Vance, and their families for their support.

“Two days ago, my husband went to see the face of his Savior and his God. And one of the final conversations that he had on this earth, my husband witnessed for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Now and for all eternity he will wear the glorious crown of a martyr,” she said.

“Mr. President, my husband loved you. And he knew that you loved him too. Your friendship was amazing. You supported him so well,” Erika added.

The shocking assassination of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University continues to reverberate throughout the country. Kirk was killed instantly when 22-year-old Tyler Robinson allegedly fired a single rifle shot during a Q&A session.

Hunter Kozak, the student who had been debating Kirk in those final moments, spoke publicly after the tragedy, slamming political violence.

“First off, you sick fcking psychos that think this is the answer, I don’t know what else to say. It’s fcking not. It’s awful and a father doesn’t have his kids anymore,” Kozak said.

“As much as I disagree with Charlie Kirk… like, man, dude, he is still a human being. Have we forgotten that? Are we crazy?” he asked, urging the left to abandon political violence and embrace dialogue instead.

For many conservatives, the September 21 memorial will serve as a national moment of mourning — but also of resolve. Charlie Kirk’s life ended abruptly, but his mission to defend faith, freedom, and America lives on.
