Rep. Comer Says Biden Doctor's Deposition Behavior Makes It 'Clear There Was a Conspiracy'

The man tasked with overseeing Joe Biden’s physical and mental health during his presidency refused to answer direct questions under oath Wednesday, as mounting evidence suggests Americans were deliberately misled about Biden’s cognitive decline.

Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Biden’s longtime physician and close family associate, finally appeared before the House Oversight Committee after weeks of delays — but instead of offering clarity, he invoked the Fifth Amendment and declined to respond to even basic inquiries.

Republican Rep. James Comer of Kentucky, who chairs the committee, revealed the stunning development in a post on X.

“President Joe Biden’s physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, just pleaded the fifth at his deposition before Congress today,” Comer wrote.
“It’s now clear there was a conspiracy to cover up President Biden’s cognitive decline after Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Biden’s physician and family business associate, refused to answer any questions and chose to hide behind the fifth amendment."

Comer confirmed that O’Connor would not answer whether he had been instructed to lie about Biden’s medical fitness or whether Biden was truly capable of performing the duties of the presidency — particularly as concerns over his mental acuity have intensified.

“The American people demand transparency but Dr. O’Connor would rather conceal the truth,” Comer wrote. “Congress must assess legislative solutions to prevent such a coverup from happening again.”

The White House physician’s attorney, David Schertler, claimed that his client was invoking both the physician-patient privilege and his constitutional right under the Fifth Amendment. But Comer didn’t buy it.

“I don’t believe that he can hide behind doctor-patient confidentiality,” he said. “This is the president of the United States, and people expect the White House physician to be truthful and transparent about the president’s health.”

Dr. O’Connor, notably, gave no comment as he exited the closed-door session.

According to The Hill, O’Connor refused to answer any questions other than stating his name, prompting deeper questions about who has really been calling the shots in the Biden White House.

Rep. William Timmons of South Carolina echoed Comer’s concerns, posting on X:

“By pleading the fifth at his deposition today, Dr. Kevin O’Connor just confirmed what we all suspected: this was a coordinated cover-up to hide the truth about Joe Biden’s condition — and who’s really been running the show behind the scenes.”
