Report: It’s Revealed Who Adam Schiff Was Leaking Classified Info To

Explosive newly declassified FBI interview records suggest that Senator Adam Schiff (D–CA) may have directly authorized the leaking of classified information in a calculated effort to politically wound President Donald J. Trump during the height of the manufactured “Trump–Russia” hysteria.

The documents, obtained by Just The News, detail testimony from a Democratic intelligence officer who once served on the House Intelligence Committee. Between 2017 and 2023, the whistleblower told federal agents that Schiff — then the committee’s ranking Democrat and later its chairman — greenlit the release of classified material meant to portray President Trump in a criminal light.

The whistleblower alleged that Rep. Eric Swalwell (D–CA) was likely the conduit for the leaks, which were intended to bolster the debunked Russiagate narrative.

“In this meeting, SCHIFF stated the group would leak classified information which was derogatory to President of the United States DONALD J. TRUMP,” one FBI summary reads. “SCHIFF stated the information would be used to indict President TRUMP.”

According to the source, Schiff’s motivation wasn’t merely partisan animosity — he had reportedly been promised the position of CIA Director had Hillary Clinton won the 2016 election. When Clinton lost, Schiff allegedly doubled down on his anti-Trump campaign, approving selective leaks to shape media coverage and undermine the presidency.

The whistleblower claims they personally witnessed Schiff give the green light to such actions, only to be abruptly fired after reporting the misconduct to federal authorities. Despite the seriousness of the allegations, the Justice Department reportedly showed little interest in investigating.

These claims echo years of reporting from conservative outlets documenting Schiff’s role in feeding the press — particularly reporters like Washington Post national security correspondent Ellen Nakashima, who has been cited as a go-to recipient for leaks from intelligence insiders such as former CIA Director John Brennan. Investigative journalist Paul Sperry of RealClearInvestigations has now linked Schiff’s alleged leaks to at least three high-profile Russia-collusion stories published between 2016 and 2017, all of which helped cement the false narrative that Trump’s campaign had been in cahoots with Moscow.

If confirmed, Schiff’s actions would constitute not only a gross abuse of his position on the Intelligence Committee, but also a potential criminal violation of laws protecting classified material. Schiff has long denied leaking sensitive information, instead accusing his critics of undermining “legitimate oversight.”

Whether the latest revelations will finally trigger criminal consequences remains uncertain. But one thing is clear: the whistleblower says this was no rogue staffer — the classified leaks were allegedly approved by Schiff himself, in front of his entire committee staff, with the explicit intent of taking down the sitting President of the United States.
