SCOTUS Amy Coney Barrett Brutally Stabs Trump In The Back – BIG MISTAKE
Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett faced a wave of criticism from America First conservatives following her pointed remarks during Thursday’s oral arguments in a high-stakes case involving President Donald Trump’s executive order aimed at ending birthright citizenship.
The case questions whether federal courts have the authority to interfere with executive orders that challenge the controversial interpretation of the 14th Amendment—one that has long been used to grant automatic U.S. citizenship to children born on American soil, even if their parents are in the country illegally.
Justice Barrett, appointed by President Trump in 2020, drew attention for scrutinizing the legal strategy presented by Trump administration Solicitor General D. John Sauer. Her sharp questioning left many on the right questioning her loyalty to constitutional conservatism—and to the President who nominated her.
In a tense exchange, Barrett pressed Sauer on whether the Trump administration had deliberately chosen not to follow binding precedent from lower courts. “Do you want to reserve the right to maybe not follow a Second Circuit precedent, say, in New York, because you might disagree with the opinion?” she asked.
Sauer responded that while the administration generally respects lower court precedent, “there are circumstances when it is not a categorical practice.”
Barrett pressed again, asking whether that applied specifically to the Trump administration or was a broader Department of Justice policy. Sauer confirmed it was his understanding that this practice was long-standing.
Barrett replied skeptically: “Really?”
Sauer attempted to clarify: “That we generally, as it was phrased to me, generally respect circuit precedent but not necessarily in every case and some examples might be a situation where we’re litigating to try to get that circuit precedent overruled and so forth.”
Barrett continued her line of inquiry, pushing for further clarity.

This assertive tone did not sit well with many in the MAGA movement, who took to social media expressing disappointment over what they see as Barrett’s pattern of deviation from constitutional originalism and loyalty to the America First agenda.
A prominent X (formerly Twitter) user, “Spitfire,” posted: “Justice Barrett was a huge mistake. Her contempt for the Trump Administration is obvious in her line of questioning.”
The Undercurrent, a conservative-leaning account, commented: “Oh Amy Coney Barrett…. We had such high hopes.”
MAGA influencer Cash Loren declared: “Amy Coney Barrett (ACB) is proving once again she may [be] the…worst SCOTUS pick ever by a Republican. She has a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court because of Donald Trump. Yet you can hear her disdain for the Trump administration.”
Other users echoed the sentiment:
“And President Trump fought so hard for her.”
“If she cannot take her emotion out of it & be fair & impartial, she should step down.”
“Fakes everywhere, we’re surrounded.”
Barrett’s performance rekindled longstanding frustrations among conservatives who have criticized her for prior rulings that seemed to align with liberal justices or undercut key constitutional principles.
This comes amid growing friction between the judiciary and the executive branch. In March, after President Trump called for accountability over judicial rulings that obstructed his deportation policies, Chief Justice John Roberts issued a rare public rebuke. Without naming Trump, Roberts claimed impeachment is “not an appropriate response” to a legal decision one disagrees with.
While President Trump did not single out any justice in his recent Truth Social post, he took aim at broader efforts by the radical left to manipulate the court.
“The Radical Left SleazeBags, which has no cards remaining in its illegal bag of tricks, is, in a very coordinated manner, PLAYING THE REF with regard to the United States Supreme Court,” Trump posted. “They lost the Election in a landslide, and with it, have totally lost their confidence and reason. They are stone cold CRAZY! I hope the Supreme Court doesn’t fall for the games they play.”
As President Trump continues to challenge the entrenched bureaucracies and activist judiciary, Thursday’s hearing served as a stark reminder that not all Trump-appointed justices will consistently stand with the President’s America First vision.
