Surprising New Host On ‘The Five’ Reveled – Fans Floored!

A prominent conservative voice is heading to Washington, and speculation is building over who might carry the torch in her absence on Fox News’ flagship program.

Judge Jeanine Pirro, a fierce defender of the rule of law and longtime Fox News host, is stepping down from her role on The Five to assume a powerful new position in the nation's capital. President Donald Trump announced Thursday that Pirro will serve as interim United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, replacing controversial nominee Ed Martin, whose confirmation stalled in the Senate.

“I am pleased to announce that Judge Jeanine Pirro will be appointed interim United States Attorney for the District of Columbia,” the President wrote on Truth Social. “Jeanine is incredibly well qualified for this position, and is considered one of the Top District Attorneys in the History of the State of New York. She is in a class by herself. Congratulations Jeanine!”

The move comes as Pirro concludes a celebrated 14-year tenure with Fox News, where she most recently co-hosted the network’s highest-rated program.

“Jeanine Pirro has been a wonderful addition to The Five over the last three years and a longtime beloved host across FOX News Media who contributed greatly to our success throughout her 14-year tenure. We wish her all the best in her new role in Washington,” a Fox News spokesperson stated.

As Pirro transitions to her new federal role, insiders are already floating potential successors. According to The Daily Mail, former Trump attorney and current U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, Alina Habba, is being considered to join The Five as a permanent co-host.

Habba, known for her sharp legal mind and unapologetic advocacy for constitutional liberties, is reportedly mulling over the opportunity, even as formal discussions at the network remain preliminary.

“There aren’t many people who can fill a Jeanine personality void. Alina’s one,” a White House source told The Daily Mail.

However, a Fox News insider pushed back slightly on the buzz, saying, “Discussions about a permanent replacement have not even started, so her name can’t be part of the mix.” For now, the network says rotating Fox personalities will temporarily fill the seat.

Should Habba accept the opportunity, she may forgo the formal Senate confirmation required to solidify her post as U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, indicating the strength of the offer.

Pirro's appointment follows the failed confirmation of Ed Martin, who ran into opposition from Republican Senator Thom Tillis of North Carolina. While Martin’s nomination gained some support, his stance on the prosecution of January 6 defendants proved to be a sticking point for the senator.

“At this point, I’ve indicated to the White House I wouldn’t support his nomination,” Tillis told CNN’s Manu Raju on Tuesday.

“Most of my concerns relate to Jan. 6,” he said. “I think that anybody that breached the perimeter should have been imprisoned for some period of time, whether it’s 30 days or three years is debatable, but I have no tolerance for anybody who entered the building on Jan. 6.”

Tillis acknowledged that Martin raised a valid concern regarding potential overreach in certain prosecutions:

“There were some people that were over-prosecuted, but there were some, 200 or 300 of them that should have never gotten a pardon.”

While the senator indicated he might have supported Martin for another district, he held firm: “Not in this district.”

Now, with Judge Jeanine poised to take the reins in Washington and Habba potentially stepping into the Fox News spotlight, conservatives are watching closely. One thing is clear: President Trump continues to elevate strong, principled voices who are unafraid to take on the establishment and restore integrity to America’s institutions.
