Trans Partner Of Charlie Kirk Suspect Proclaimed Support For Joe Biden

Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old charged with assassinating Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, is emerging as a figure steeped in fringe online subcultures, left-wing politics, and bizarre digital obsessions.

New reports reveal Robinson had an online fixation with the “furry” community — a niche subculture often tied to sexualized cartoon animal characters. According to the Daily Mail, investigators are reviewing an account on FurAffinity.net under a username consistent with Robinson’s other gaming profiles.

Meanwhile, his live-in partner and romantic companion, 22-year-old Lance Twiggs — a transgender male-to-female gamer from a conservative Christian family in Utah — has surfaced as a key witness. Twiggs’ old social media posts included both open support for President Joe Biden and sarcastic remarks about politics. In a 2022 Reddit post, Twiggs wrote, “We are riding with Biden on this glorious subreddit.” Another satirical comment in the same thread quipped, “One day Jeb will be president and America will fully reform into a utopia.”

Other posts revealed Twiggs mocking targeted mental-health ads he received online, including treatments for schizophrenia and borderline personality disorder. “I have been getting recommended treatments for schizophrenia, bpd [borderline personality disorder], and a brain tumor recently by my social media advertisements. this meme is perfect, thanks,” Twiggs wrote in one post.

According to Axios, Twiggs was “aghast” upon learning Robinson was accused of murdering Kirk and has been “extremely cooperative” with investigators. Authorities, however, reportedly consider Twiggs a “person of interest” because of how much he knew about Robinson’s activities. “It’s pretty clear that Robinson’s roommate knew a lot and didn’t say anything after the killing,” one law enforcement official told the outlet. Twiggs, upon realizing the gravity of the case, reportedly turned over messages to authorities, saying: “That’s what happened? Oh my God, no. Here are all the messages.”

Friends and classmates who knew Robinson say the alleged killer had become more radical in recent years. Once raised Mormon, Robinson abandoned his faith and gravitated toward post-ironic meme culture and radical online forums. A former classmate, Justin Lee, told the New York Post that Robinson “seemed pretty normal and average,” but added, “The only thing that makes me say ‘That sounds about right’ was when ‘notices bulge owo’ was written on one of the bullet casings.”

Robinson was arrested after a 33-hour manhunt, taken into custody on charges of capital murder, weapons offenses, and obstruction. He is currently being held in the Utah County Sheriff’s Department’s special housing unit under “special watch” while awaiting a mental-health evaluation. The sheriff’s department explained that the status is used for suspects facing serious charges or those showing violent or erratic behavior. Officials said they have not documented any suicidal threats from Robinson.

The emerging portrait is one of a young man who spiraled out of a conservative family upbringing into radical internet culture — a shift that ended in the political assassination of one of America’s most influential conservative voices.
