Trump Administration on High Alert: Intelligence Intercepts Iranian ‘Trigger’ Signal for Global Sleeper Cells
U.S. intelligence agencies are currently deconstructing a sophisticated, encrypted communique believed to be an “operational trigger” sent from Tehran to covert assets embedded across the West. The intercept, first reported by ABC News, has put national security apparatuses on high alert as President Donald J. Trump continues his decisive campaign to dismantle the Iranian regime’s global terror infrastructure.
The signal was detected by U.S. monitoring systems shortly after the February 28 joint U.S.-Israeli airstrike that eliminated Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. While Tehran has since attempted to project stability by elevating his son, Mojtaba Khamenei, to the leadership, the intercepted transmission suggests the regime is reaching for its "sleeper" playbook in a desperate bid for relevance.
According to the intelligence alert, the transmission utilized “international rebroadcast characteristics,” a Cold War-style method that bypasses the internet to reach clandestine recipients via pre-arranged frequencies and passcodes. This move is a clear indication that the regime is attempting to activate pre-positioned assets to strike "soft targets" outside of the Middle East.
The 'Passport Pipeline' and Border Vulnerabilities
The threat of Iranian infiltration is not a new concern for conservative national security experts, who have long warned that the previous administration’s lax enforcement allowed hostile actors to exploit global travel routes. Last year, the Daily Mail exposed a “passport pipeline” involving Iranian-linked operatives moving through Venezuela to gain proximity to the United States.
Under the Trump administration’s current posture, the focus has shifted toward neutralizing these internal threats before they can manifest. However, the risk remains high as the conflict enters its second week. Former DHS adviser and Secret Service supervisor Charles Marino warned that the U.S. is facing a "convergence" of threats.
“Is it possible you have 10, 15, 20 people in the country that are part of a cell that then go out and carry out simultaneous or near-simultaneous attacks? Yes,” Marino said.
Marino noted that these terrorists often target crowded, "soft" venues like sporting events and concerts to maximize casualties. Security is reportedly being tightened around the upcoming World Cup, which is designated as a National Special Security Event.
Operation Epic Fury: 'Decades of Cowardice' Over
As the domestic threat looms, President Trump is taking the fight directly to the source. Under Operation Epic Fury, U.S. forces have already neutralized over 2,000 targets, including missile facilities and nuclear sites. The administration has made it clear that the era of "strategic patience" and leading from behind is over.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt praised the President’s resolve during a Wednesday briefing, noting that the Iranian leadership is finally facing the consequences of its decades-long shadow war against the West.
“Under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump, the rogue Iranian terrorist regime is being absolutely crushed,” Leavitt said. “Iran’s murderous, terrorist leaders are paying for their crimes against America — and they are paying in blood.”
Leavitt emphasized that the President is "correcting decades of cowardice" in American foreign policy, asserting that the Commander-in-Chief's refusal to blink has forced the regime into a corner.
“President Trump is finally the man of action. President Trump does not bluff,” she added.
While some in the international community have expressed concern over fluctuating energy prices following Israeli strikes on Iranian oil depots, the Trump administration remains laser-focused on the primary objective: the total neutralization of the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism and the protection of the American homeland.
