Trump Defends Bondi, Blasts Epstein Distraction as Plot to Undermine MAGA

President Donald J. Trump issued a strong defense of Attorney General Pam Bondi on Saturday, pushing back against criticism from within the conservative base over her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case.

Bondi has come under fire after a Justice Department memo last week concluded the Epstein investigation with no further files set for release and declared there was no so-called “client list.” That announcement angered many grassroots conservatives, who expected full transparency following Bondi’s previous statements.

Trump, however, stood firmly by his attorney general in a Truth Social post, calling Bondi “FANTASTIC” and warning that the internal friction is doing the left’s work for them.

“What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals’?” Trump asked. “They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening.”

President Trump called out the renewed focus on Epstein as a deliberate effort to destabilize his movement.

“For years, it’s Epstein, over and over again,” he wrote. “Why are we giving publicity to Files written by Obama, Crooked Hillary, Comey, Brennan, and the Losers and Criminals of the Biden Administration?”

The DOJ-FBI memo concluded that Epstein’s 2019 death was a suicide and dismissed any evidence of a “client list” or elite blackmail. But many America First supporters aren’t buying it—especially as high-level names remain shrouded in secrecy.

Trump blasted the entire Epstein narrative as another tool of political sabotage—no different from the now-debunked Russia collusion hoax and the fraudulent Steele Dossier.

“Why didn’t these Radical Left Lunatics release the Epstein Files if there was anything in there that could have hurt the MAGA Movement?” Trump questioned. “They haven’t even given up on the JFK or Martin Luther King Jr Files.”

Pivoting to priorities, President Trump reaffirmed his focus on core issues: securing the border, reviving the economy, restoring energy dominance, and defending election integrity.

“We’re about to achieve more in 6 months than any administration has in 100 years,” Trump declared. “We are MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and that’s our complete PRIORITY.”

He urged Kash Patel and the FBI to redirect their resources toward real threats—namely voter fraud, deep state corruption, and shady financial operations like ActBlue—instead of dragging out dead-end narratives like Epstein.

“LET PAM BONDI DO HER JOB, SHE’S GREAT,” Trump added. “The 2020 Election was Rigged and Stolen, and they tried to do the same thing in 2024. That’s what she’s looking into as AG.”

Meanwhile, multiple sources confirm rising tensions inside the DOJ. FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino reportedly had a heated clash with Bondi and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles over the memo’s release. He has not returned to the office since and is said to be weighing resignation if Bondi remains in her post.

CBS News, citing FBI sources, called Bongino’s absence a “pressing issue.” The dispute reportedly came to a head during a closed-door meeting at the White House last Wednesday.

Despite the drama, President Trump issued a final, unmistakable message to his movement:

“Let’s not waste time and energy on Jeffrey Epstein, somebody that nobody cares about.”

In short, Trump is refocusing the MAGA agenda on what matters—and reminding America who the real enemy is.
